This place is barren, buffeted by harsh winds. No life appears to live here... and yet, what's this? Movement from the sands, a broad-shouldered lion pushing his way out of a previously-hidden cave. He is tall, strong, tusks like a pig curling up from his lips... perhaps it's best if you get a move on.

All lions on Lioden live 16 years maximum, or 192 days. This is 27 weeks and 3 days, or a bit over 6 months in IRL time. It takes 24 days for a lion to go from cub to adult, so only 168 days of this are adulthood. While males will always live to 16 years, a lioness has a chance of dying starting at 15 years, or 180 days. At this age, a king may also retire for free.
The current main male of this pride will retire in approximately 43 days, on the 15th of March, 2025.
