The Making of a Pride

A new journey for this pride began just before the august drought, barely settling into life before things got really hard. A small cub who grew aimlessly traveling from one edge of the continent to the other oucasted, pride to pride, destined unknowingly to become the king of his own tribe one day. But he didn’t take the way he was treated into bad faith, he still always found himself showing his softer side. Rendin worked hard to be where he is now, but with good deeds and protecting those around him, taking in any abandoned or orphaned cubs he was able. Chased or outcasted lionesses, a shelter for anyone who sought protection in the den, his family was growing. And many relied on him. And he was happy with this. He wanted good folks to know there was a safe place for them, and those with negative outlooks could find themselves dealt a better hand. Another chance.
