Calcareous Starfall's Den

Amethyst was the product of forbidden relationship between an angel and a demon- but both realms turned their wings on him due to his unclean blood. He was abandoned as a cub, expected to die in the harsh environment of the mortal plane. Luckily, a king who dealt in rescues picked him up and gave him a second chance at life. He grew up to be a lovely and kind male, who never raised a paw maliciously if he could help it.

Dezan encouraged him to go off on and his and maybe start a small pride, taking a few who wanted to go with him. Surprisingly, he ended up meeting a breathtaking lioness swirled in the night sky and shimmering stars. He didn’t mind the fact she had a rare mutation that made her appear like a male- Celestar was intelligent, witty, and strong. To return the favor his previous king did for him, he picks up abandoned cubs and lost creatures. He even discovered a traveling lioness with a similar history as to him, much to his surprise.

That’s when the demons clawed their way to earth to try to take anything they could. He wasn’t ready to loose his new family so easily, and fought bravely (recklessly?) against the creatures. One night, bloodied and battered, a manticore approached him, explaining the situation of the holy war. Amethyst told him he didn’t care for their immortal woes- only for the protection of his pride. Ironically, and begrudgingly, the hybrid ended up working alongside the angels who turned their wings on him to rid his realm of the other half of his tainted lineage.
