Vulture is a lion who comes from a long lineage of Demi-Gods with special gifts of helping the souls of the departed, making sure they make it to their final resting place in peace. He also helps justify wrongful deaths in the real world. He ventures beyond himself, putting his mortal body into a deep rest that cannot be disturbed until his soul makes its way back to his body. His lionesses have a special job in watching over him while he's in this state, and helping with rituals to honor the dead, using every part left of the body, bones and all. Once a year in the spring he leads them to a valley for a grand ceremony honoring their ancestors.
