at night, the ocean transforms into a hauntingly beautiful abyss beneath a sky full of stars, a vast, starlit sea where specters of the past drift aimlessly. the pride’s central gathering place is la roca de los caídos ("the rock of the fallen"), a towering, storm-battered island where caimán delivers judgments and plans his conquests. scattered remnants of past conflicts—bones, rusted blades, and shattered armor—serve as grim warnings to those who dare challenge him or his lionesses. to those who oppose him, the sea offers no mercy; it swallows the weak as the tide claims a drowning man.
