SMG Cuirass's Den

I'm a fresh cub in the world of Lioden, as I just discovered it in a suggested reddit post! (1/12/25). I spent many years playing another browser animal game (horse related), so this game feels like it will scratch that itch.

Lots to learn here, but it looks interesting!

"Ahh, a visitor." Cuirass half sighs and yawns, stretching his forepaws towards you as he rises from the shade of a sickle bush. You notice the snapped twigs from the trimmed plant bundled neatly behind him, nestled with a few bones and a chunk of unknown flesh. The Bermuda grass is neatly stamped in a round nest, completing a comfortable watch post.

He steps to meet you, sizes you up, then bows his head a moment and speaks. "You are welcome to water and a meal if you are of need. Please be mindful of the cubs. Be even more mindful of my huntresses." He gives a wink and nods towards a trio of acacia trees a short walk behind his post.

You can tell he is quite kind, per his usual, but a commanding presence keeps your senses wary. Despite that, you feel at peace in his gaze, and bow your head back. He takes your response as an agreement and turns towards his home. You follow, his tail twitching ever so slightly as he curves his path between the varied sickle bushes. As you reach the base of the first tree, his home and pride are revealed to you.

The three acacias surround a once larger watering hole--the shade and dipping topography keeping it from totally disappearing in the African heat. Near the second tree, a motherly lioness watches over some wrestling cubs creating a small dust cloud. The third tree grows from the base of a long kopje, that protects their home on the back side of their territory. It's quite the wall of rounded stones, and you can see other females lounging here. One keeps an eye on you, peering out of a cave entrance.

Be it food, drink, or a chat, you are welcome here. So long as you stay respectful to the king and his home.

Plans for this account:
-More "natural" (neutral and realistic colors) colored lions--my side account is for more vivid and highly marked lions as well as mutations.
-Breeding projects
