Rauren's Den

Rauren King led this pride from the Deep Desert, a place of permanent drought. He was never known as the strongest or bravest lion, and began to revel in his new privilege as king. When he began to grow ruthless and cruel, the inner circle of lionesses who had followed him began to plot.

Ghani Seer, Alia Coam, Ghola and Mari Darktail, Lady Malerei, Lady Kai Star and Tyeka Stormborn all plot against their king. Alia Coam seeks vengeance for her prince son slained at Rauren King's paws. Ghani Seer trains Atreides Noir and Irulan Sol to inherit the pride. The Darktail sisters quietly support the son of Saint Lasa, Mare Blue, to overthrow Rauren King. The other three sisters tend to the pride's hierarchy and have their own plans; perhaps there will be no new king, but a queen.
