🥬☆Spinachii☆🥬's Den

Spinachii and Rowan are husbands, and they like to adopt a lotta funny lil' critters that brighten up the den :3
Spinachi is an avid explorer, loving to run around the pride lands in search of herbs and flowers he can decorate the den with, while Rowan preffers to stay home and look over the kids and resident lionesses.

Spinachii is a smart but simple guy, he loves exploring and experiencing new things. He often ends up too focused on studying his herbs and tending to his plants to socialise, spending long hours prowling the prode lands in search of interesting items or shiny trinkets.

He often struggles with socialising, finding social cues and subtexts hard to decipher. He finds a lot of social norms and concepts confusing and illogical, and prefers to lead his pride by his own morals instead of trying to fit in with other groups.his dream was always to have a quiet place he could be himself in, and his current den is just that.

He's intersex, having been born with female anatomy, but received a sudden burst of testosterone during puberty, making him grow more fluff, and basically become male. He's treated as a male by his pride and partner, and prefers to identify with this gender.

Spinachii is naturally upbeat, curious and friendly, albeit a bit awkward sometimes. He has troubles understanding why other lions despise certain species, and often hangs out with hyenas, other felines or anything that doesn't try to attack him, really...

Rowanberry, Rowan for short, is a rather gruff and stoic male. (Maybe add something about the championships when i find out more about that event) acts sarcastic most of the time but is actually very sweet towards his mate and physically affectionate. He enjoys the new role of being in charge of helping the lionesses rise all the kids Spinachii adopted, loving to spend time relaxing in the sun and wrestling with them. He's happy with the change of pace, enjoying the peacefulness of Spinachi's den.

During the poaching crisis in march, a massive amount of animal kids was orphaned or killed in the humans' traps. While sneaking around the forests, avoiding the nauseating scent of gunpowder, Spinachii had begun to encounter some poor pups and cubs that lost their parents in the commotion. He couldn't just stand by and let the poor things starve to death, or be picked off by predators... so he started to bring them back with him, one by one. Sometimes a serval, genet, a few caracal or even lycaon or hyena pups... Rowan and the lionesses were surprised at first, seeing his mate bringing in different species and caring for them, but it didn't take them long to accept their king's decision and take the kits in as their own, helping them recover from their wounds and making sure they stayed safe from now on... it might be strange for a lion to do, but... there's a lot of space in the den, isn't there? Why not share it with those who need it?
