Exand's Den

The king is always known as Exand. In honor of the original king, each heir abandons their former name and takes the name of Exand.

The original King Exand established his pride in unknown lands. He was a benevolent king who passed early due to sickness.

Kanto, the second King Exand, was taken in to Exand's pride as an outsider. When the former king died, he stepped up to take his place.

Fleta, the third King Exand, was crowned after Exand II's death. At the start of his reign, Exand's Pride met a lion named Cedarheart, leading his pride in its infancy. The two prides formed an alliance, and Cedarheart went on to establish his pride in the neighboring valley. They became known as "The Valley Pride", and are still close allies with Exand's Pride today.

Mottlecloud, the fourth King Exand, was next in line to rule as king. However, King Exand III didn't see him as a fitting heir and sent him away to live with the Valley Pride. Mottlecloud returned to Exand's Pride as the king was dying, and took his place. His reign was short lived, for he was soon overthrown by King Exand III's son, Leviathan.

Leviathan, the fifth King Exand and the son of Exand III, was raised as the pride's heir while Mottlecloud was away with the Valley Pride. He overthrew King Exand IV, and took his place as king.
