Hello! Thank you for visiting. I'm a huge KHR fan and biologist! My spouse and I keep many pets and many plants. Our baby kitties are Whiskey, Davos and Lyanna (aka Lilly). We also have three snakes and a leopard gecko. My plant specialties are in the exotic & poisonous and in the medicinal & edible. Currently, I work in pharmaceutical development. I do keep a side account here.

We are in North Carolina and run by that time. Currently mourning the loss of our mountains. Thankfully we and our friends/family are safe.

This is Lunam
This pride strives for the best. It was founded by the first king Aurel Scipio. A lion may enter the pride once they are deemed as worthy. Lunam is an unusual nocturnal pride. The day starts for them at dusk and lasts til dawn.

NCLs can only ever join Lunam's Thorns as broodmothers. Anyone else can join the Roses. Only those who are born into the pride and blessed with beauty are allowed into the ranks of the Blessed.

The Territory
While most of our territory is made up of deep jungle, including the camp at the heart of it, it also consists of open savannah and steep rocky hills. It was during the reign of Aurel that the most expansion occurred. We do our best to keep our pride small but it's difficult with so many beautiful lions!

The main camp sits at the base of a waterfall, spilling into a small river curving through out territory. Many choose to relax along the riverbed or play in the fresh water during their down time. The wealth of the jungle easily provides for the pride under the guidance of their leaders and shamaness.

We care deeply for our past members just as they care for us. They watch over us, occasionally interfering as they see fit. Feel free to look through our King and Pride dynasties at our ancestors.

Greetings
As you enter the pride, a large primal lion rests among the rocks. His fangs peek out as he raises his head slowly. Silvery eyes open looking you over.

"Welcome to our pride. My name is AtanOareyä and I am the king. Take a rest and enjoy the jungle. Leave only when you are ready. If you require anything, speak to Mitizi."

He yawns and shakes his dark mane before resting again.
