The Pride

There are things in the world that both humans and beasts struggle to accept and comprehend. Things not of this world. There are a few that stand between the innocent and the maddening darkness. This pride is one such group, holding a light against the shadows and keeping it at bay. They are not untouched by it.

Nearing the end of her reign, the strange, future-sight gifted, pale coated Queen of the pride is both fair and frightening. Only the foolish have ever seen her in her full glory; and to most she is simply a beautiful, pale, quite creature, like the snakes she resonates with. To those who are unlucky enough to see her true face, though...it is, most usually, the last thing they see. Even her pride isn't aware of what she keeps below her surface.

The heir to the pride, a cub of beautiful, brilliant coat colors and a personality just as colorful. Quirky, playful, silly, and friendly, she is the outgoing and charismatic counter to Kusai's shy, withdrawn, introverted personality.
