Hello! I'm MOCHI, a 24-year-old from South Africa, living on a farm surrounded by far too many chickens — all of whom I adore more than I probably should. When I’m not tending to my chickens and cows, I’m working on my art. I specialize in drawing anthropomorphic and feral animals, though I don’t take commissions as often as I’d like since I tend to work at a slower pace.

I’m deeply passionate about Paleontology, Mythology, and History — especially Greek and Norse cultures. You’ll notice many of my lions are named after ancient gods, mythic beings, and legendary figures from those traditions.

I’ve been part of Lioden for as long as I can remember. While I appreciate the vibrant, wildly colorful lions others create, I have a soft spot for warm, earthy tones. There’s just something about natural shades that makes my heart happy.

Right now, I’m working on a small project focused on breeding beautiful, natural-colored lions. Huge bonus if they’re piebalds — it’ll probably always be my favorite mutation.
