giphy.gifstray-dogs.jpg"what happend to us being mans best friend?"
"Why do they treat our brothers and sisters like this,"
"We are all the same!"
"Why do you do this!"

For countless generations dogs have been bred for many different things, like how people use German Sheapherd as police dogs or jail guards, labs to help the blind, hounds for hunting, dobermans, rotwielers to guard families, yet somehow pit bulls where taken from what they where origional bred for and used as pit dogs, fighting dogs, dogs you throw I. Pits to fight and kill each other, some humans abuse these loving dogs, be they big or small, then form the abuse of the humans dogs are out down for there bad temperament but not anymore this age the dogs will abandon humans and take care of each other, and they will show the humans that they are strong with out them, they will continue to grow, be happy and live for them selves! And there kin it's time for the blood of the wolf inside them to finally surface and take back what's there, the lands the forest everything.

Some little dogs though the vary small breeds still stay with the humans as some of the bigger dog packs don't alow them in, and they find it safe to stay with these humans.

Buzzard trudged along the outskirts of the town. Her eyes narrowed as the sun beat down on her. Woth a muffled grunt, Buzzard stopped. Lifting her head to the air, Buzzard sniffed the air cautiously. The smell of other dogs wafted through the air. Well, duh, dogs where plentiful in these parts. Pushing it aside, Buzzard nosed through a torn open garbage bag. There wasn't much, but a few scraps of food.

Buzzard turned away from the bag, and walked onward. It was exceptionally hot today, and the air didn't help either. Her mouth widened in a light pant. With a muffled groan, Buzzard decided to lay down in a somewhat shady spot. Plopping down, Buzzard sprawled her frame across the heated pavement. To think shade helped. A snarl escaped her throat, as the sizzling pavement got to her. Standing immediately, Buzzard searched for a grassy area. Most grass here was dead and itchy though.

Peep.
The hot, unmerciful sun hit Peep, making him grunt with annoyance. He smelled the air with curiously, smelling nothing more then stray dogs, as per usual. He hoped they wouldn't bother him today, not after last time. He tried to move away from where he was standing to go explore, but was choked by his collar of which was connected to a leash. It was tied onto a metal bar, sticking out from the ground and could easily be broken by any larger dogs. Peep yelped and barked, trying to earn his owner's attention, as to let him inside. And, as usual, he never got it. This was probably one of the few times he'd try to get any attention.

He angrily lie down in a huff, barking once more, which only sounded like a loud yip. With a shake of the head, he decided just to stop and be quiet. The strays possibly couldn't of heard him, but you never know. His ears perked up with curiosity after hearing the chirp of a bird. Peep slowly got up, muscles aching. Earlier, he was fine. But why was it now that his muscles hurt? With a final annoyed growl, he lie down in the dry, yellow grass, and let his eyes flutter, before falling asleep. Simply waiting to be let off of his leash.

Nina was asleep in a junk yard, this junkyard consisted of broken car, truck, tractor many different vehicle parts. she was asleep in a torn truck bed that was stacked on to mane tracked vehicles. Nina soon woke to the sound of her belly growling, lifting her head up she scanned her surrounding before getting up and jumping out of the truck bed. She made her way down the small mountain of crushed and trashed cars and trucks and made her way out if the junkyard, into the city where she rarely ever strayed. The large k9 was always weary and on her paws, ever since she escaped the pound, the pound always been after her. She vowed she would never go back there.

She wanted to live in the shelters of the trees, but her old forest home where her father originated was destroyed for the up walkers to build more of there wooden dens. She believed there was a larger forest out there that would not be touched by up walkers ever and she knew that maybe someday she would go, but for now UNTILL she got some intel on how to get there, she would stay hidden in the city. She made her way through some alleys going to he spot where

she would always get food, a pizza bakery she sat at the entrance of the back door, she let out a a small howl and soon enough the large friendly up walker who was the head chef came out, he patted her on the head and gave her a few slices of pizza, she didn't know what this was, but the smell was always so heavenly and the taste was beyond explaining, she licked her jaws befor looking up and wagging her tail, she was greeted again by the chef with a bowl of milk. Not water this time?! Still good though. She lapped at the liquids UNTILL her thirst was quenched.

Maybe she would end up being an alley dog, she always found herself coming her often and often every day, the Jeff patted her on the head once more before going back in , he left the door open so Nina knew he would be back and indeed he did! he came back with a sausage rope and wrapped it loosely around Nina's neck. sweet a meal for later her tail began wagging happily before the chef finally retreated back in the bakery to continue working.

Nina stayed here only for a few heartbeats more before turning around and heading out. The smell of dog was close by, fresh tis time, they seemed to be near by. Nina Decides to mind her own business, she didn't want to accidentally tread on some other dogs turf and get attacked. She kept her wits about her and moved on.

Long slender legs lifted the lean frame of the uniquely marked canine as he made his way down one of the alley ways. He was a large dog, standing slightly shorter then a dane, but still easily just as impressive. Despite the appearance, his body almost resembled that of a greyhound, lean and built for speed more so then strength. Though few would openly want to challenge this male. for he had a reputation on the streets as being brutal and cruel. His nails clicked against the pavement as he proceeded on his normal walk about. He had a routine that he usually partook in, and that involved patrolling his imaginary territory's borders. Shaking out his fur, he grunted, smelling other canines that had recently passed by... Great, just what he needed. Bristling his hackles some, he marked by lifting a leg and freely relieving himself all over the alley way wall. This place was his... Or so he claimed.

After a few moments of making sure that most scents were marked, he licked at the side of his chops, a familiar pang of hunger striking him. Downside to being a large dog, is you had to eat a lot to keep your body moving properly. Lifting his tattered ears, the Capo Cane listened for any surrounding humans that might have dropped an easy meal. As much he despised the two legged ones, they were useful to an extent. Padding off, he swayed his narrow tail, following his nose in hopes of finding something to fill his belly.

Buzzard surveyed the area carefully. Her ears stood erect atop her head. A newer, more recent scent of dog passed across here. A more stronger scent caught her attention. A darker area smudged across one of the walls. Her nose quivered as she examined it carefully. It had come from a male. Shaking herself vigorously, Buzzard huffed before planting her haunches to the ground.

Her mind wandered with the subject of her subtle question. Should she track him? Buzzard lost her concentration as one of those moving machines passed by. She was somewhat close to the road, and got affected by it. A puddle to the face wasn't her cup of tea. Snorting, Buzzard wiped her face with her paw, low growls forming in her throat.

Feeling it was somewhat okay, Buzzard turned back around. Walking slowly, where the other dog had walked. He was close, but not a few pawsteps close.

Themis grunted in frustration, so far any place that his nose had led him had turned up empty handed. Either the flying creatures managed to get their beaks into it, or the alley cats scurried off with what was left. Lowering his nose further to the pavement, he inhaled deeply, hoping to at least catch some sort of other scent. Humans are filthy creatures, and it was so troublesome to spend most of your time in their garbage. To a proud dog it would also be degrading, but this was what Themis had known his entire life. His ears slightly pinned back, discouraged. It was then though that a scent caught his nose, and his body lurched forward in a reflex. Food, fresh and smelling delicious.

His paws hurried him around a corner where a trash can was being filled. It appeared to be a local buffett, and what ever the humans couldn't finish they always put them in those silver containers. Waiting until the man departed back into the building, Themis then made his move. Going over to the strange object, he leaned into it until it toppled over, spilling it's contents onto the pavement. With a sway of his tail, he lowered his head down and attempted to fit his hulk part way into the can, letting his slender muzzle reach in with hopes of getting the better leftovers.

Diablo

In one of the many alleys littering the city, a large black and tan shape could be seen moving around an overturned trash bin. With medium length, slightly shaggy fur that could use some grooming, and hard brown eyes that flashed in the dim lighting. This was Diablo. Shaking his head, the mostly black brute let out an irritated growl and backed away from the trash he'd scattered. This was the third bin he'd tried today, and he had only found meager scraps, hardly even enough to take the sharpest edge off his growing hunger.
Flicking his pointed, triangular ears, he turned and made his way out of the alley, his expression annoyed. It would seem that other dogs had gotten here before him, which meant that he would have to range into more dangerous grounds if he wanted to eat today. Shaking his head, he set off.

Buzzard had followed him at a fair distance for a bit. Her head hung low in boredom, as her tail sagged. Yet, another intriguing scent took her attention. The single source that helped keep the dogs alive. Food. She no longer cared about the Brute she had been tracking, and turned towards the direction of the scent. Her head whirled with the thought of finally having food. Licking her jaws, Buzzard peered around a wall. A small building stood before her. The food was coming from there. A few of those moving machines stood in a lot in front of the building.

Buzzard didn't exactly know anyway to get the food, but she soon thought of something. Behind the building, humans sat at a table, outside, with food in front of them. Drooling faintly, Buzzard glanced to the right as a noise echoed through the air. A trash can was toppled over, with something scavenging inside. Taking no interest, Buzzard trotted forward, keeping low.

Her plan was to raid the humans of their food. It had a 50% chance of working, and a 50% chance of not. Keeping her senses alert, Buzzard stirred closer at any available chances. Finally she was in earshot to listen to the humans jibberish. Two big ones, and two small ones sat around a large wooden plate. Building up her confidence, Buzzard glared at the food, picking out which one would supply her better. One of the small ones was only picking at it, leaving about a whole meal.

The large coffee brown wolf Shepherd she was patrolling her own borders her head lifted she saw another large dog ahead, (themis) she lifted her large wolffish head up and tilted hit, she felt her tail rise, as this was all Instinks, the large brute had strayed on her land, the female began to make her way down the streets, the fur on her back raised a little, her golden eyes a blazed with dominants.

A growl escaped her muzzle when she got nearer, the male was just a little smaller then she was,, her snarls became more known the closer she got, her tail as straight up as it gets Nina almost resembled her father who was a Timber wolf. Nina came to a slow stop, leavening two fox lengths away from the other k9.

The large, coal-black mix rose his head, yawning. As his jaw closed again, his almond eyes scanned the alleyway. No one had intruded recently, but he might as well get off his fluffy butt and take a look about. He hauled himself to his feet, stretching for a long time. He yawned again before he started out into the light.

He squinted against the bright light of day, his lips pulling tight in irritation. He turned right first, walking tall like a big-shot canine. His thick-furred paws felt little of the sidewalk's heat, and he went on his merry way, scouting as he went.

-~Silversnip~-

Seeing the big, black-and-tan male dog leave (Diablo), she stepped quietly into that particular curve of the alleyway. It was obvious that most the garbage cans on this side of the city were fairly empty. It was pretty thickly-populated with dogs, after all.

Instead, she walked stealthily behind him on small paws, watching him curiously. She tilted her slim head in that signature-dog way. She summoned up all her bravery and made a small sound to alert him she was here. She walked slowly up to him in a neutral stance, her thick tail not raised, but not lowered. The same with her head and silver hackles. Her pale grey-brown eyes were open and wondersome.

"Uh, mm, I'm Silversnip... Heh, Hi."

Wicker got up and squeezed out of the box he was sleeping in moments before. stretching his muscles, he made a loud yawn before trotting away from his box and out of the alleyway.
He lowered his nose and sniffed the sidewalk, scents hitting his nose. There were fresh and stale dog scents, along with the burning smell from the moving metal machines. Wicker turned down the familiar sidewalk and down an alleyway that held his lunch.
Wicker wasn't sure what the place was entirely, but he did know that they kept their trash filled with left over food constantly. He was lucky to even come across this place.
The dusty dumpster was there as always, and he jumped up, climbing inside.
Food scents filled his nose as he dug around to look for something he really wanted.
He stopped at a half eaten rib, and his mouth closed around it quickly before he jumped back out before the humans spotted him, his rib still tightly held in his mouth.
Wicker was impressed with his findings, and grunted in satisfaction.

Diablo
Glancing over his shoulder at a small noise Diablo looked at the shepherd mix that had been tailing him for a few minutes. He'd noticed her the moment he'd left the alleyway, but as long as she'd posed no threat, he didn't see the harm in letting her tail him, at least until she annoyed him in some way or other.
Now she spoke to him, in a nervous, almost shy manner, making his eyebrows raise in curiosity.
"Hello, Silversnip, did you need something?" he questioned.

(Never realized I was so good at Literate X3 )

/|\Rookie/|\

His curled ears went up as a metal bench came into view. A human with metal things on his face was tossing bread crumbs to pigeons on the sidewalk in front of him. He shrugged. Food was just as good an objective as preserving his own territory. He snuck carefully behind the bench and crawled carefully forward. Underneath the bench now, just barely fitting.

He dropped his head on his paws for a long time, carefully watching the birds and waiting for one to venture close enough. All was still in his body until... Snap! His jaws snapped around the small body of a dove gray bird. It put up little fight before he managed to kill it.

The rest of the flock flew away in shock. He smirked and backed carefully from under the bench. He ran behind the corner of a building before the human knew what happened. Chuckling smugly to himself, he quickly wolfed down the little meat on the bird before someone could try to take it from him.

-~Silversnip~-

She shrugged, looking away from his intense, dark-colored eyes.

"I don't know, I guess I was just looking for some company. It's pretty lonely around these streets, if ya didn't know." She laughed a bit in a sad way. She hated the loneliness of the streets, but she didn't want a human, most definitely. She wasn't sure about a pack. It seemed okay, but she figured due to her slim build she'd get picked on too much for her liking--which was at all. She blocked this all out and waited for the handsome dog to reply.

Wicker walked down the empty sidewalk for awhile before stopping. He looked around, his ears perked, and listened for any dogs or humans nearby that might ruin his meal. When everything seemed okay, he dropped his rib and layed down beside it.

He started to chew at it, and once in awhile a loud crack or crunch could be heard when his teeth bit into one of the bones.

Wicker was engrosed in his consumption of the rib, but half of his attention was focused on his surroundings.
