I really like this idea. When I first joined and realized I couldn't actually modify the lionesses I already had I was really bummed I wasted so much time on lioness I didn't really want to breed in the first place. So I had to start over with the new lionesses I customized.
And little hair tufts will be adorale! :D

exactlly, that was my same reaction cause i had worked so hard on some of my lionesses and then their was no way i could tweak their design.

Personally I like the face that customizing a lioness in the oasis creates a new lioness, because it give you a lioness at 2 years of age so it gives you the most bang for your buck. If you want to tweak an existing lioness you can use the eye changers on them (and soon a marking applicator and remover will be added so you can add and remove markings)

I support the idea that there be some changes in the tufts depending on the mane type and the idea that the mane color should determine the tuft color.

i'm not saying they should get rid of the make a new oasis lioness, but that they should have an individual custimize lioness option on their page. you could use the eye change and marking applicator like you guys said but i think in the end it would cost way more than to just make a new lioness or have the option to customize.

Sorry but i dont support customizing pre-existing lions and lioness' that we breed, what is the point in breeding them if you can just wave a magic wand, it is already hard enough trading cubs, and personally i love the challenge of breeding for traits and seeing what comes out, a lot of the game play was already dramatically changed when studding was introduced, and lioness' lost their value when custom osasis was introduced as well (seriously we use to get excited over NCL that had unusual/rare markings and we use to all go crazy in the trade center they HAD value and so did our cubs back then)
I personally do not want to see lioden become a game just for people who invest real life money into it, i think custom features should stay the way they are.

I do like the idea about the mane and tail tuft (im surprised the tail tufts are not the same color already as they are in males)

i can see what your saying aliya, but i think it could actually increase the lionesses value , people would no longer just want to get rid of their ncl, but instead keep them in hopes of being able to customize them. i think you may slightly miss understand the customization i have in mind, it wouldn't be free, it cost gb just like it would to make a new lioness. that would give people something to work towards i think.

Yeah true, but not everyone can buy enough GB which would only put the players who already have plenty (and have the means of getting more eg leader board players with well stated cubs that earn GB's)
All im saying is that we have already lost value on good cubs and lioness'
The economy of the game has gone down hill, and i dont see that this would bring it up any, it would bring it to the point that unless every player is willing to spend real money then no one would really be able to play... its only my opinion and im not trying to sound rude or anything like that i just dont want to see another great sim game get so crazy with its economy that only the original players can continue (or every other player from here on in invests $10 a week or whenever just to play)

I get that it would give NCL a better chance at being more valuable, but i think the main point of the game died with customs in the first place, i mean we should be selectively breeding for colour and quality, I think that the male customization was a great idea, but I think/feel that customizing lioness' took away a lot of the fun challenge from the game (for me anyway... i may or may not be the only person)

But still i think your idea about the manes and tails for the lioness' is a great one!
