I think Havana's got a great idea! I'm currently looking for a female blue-, green-, or hetero-eyed Dove Grey cub with 8-10 markings of 90% opacity or higher without brown, dark brown, or gold markings, and I still haven't found exactly what I'm looking for.

Perhaps we could have a simple search based on sex, age, base color, eye color, mane type and color and a more advanced search based on number of markings (0-10), type of markings (cover, gradient, belly, etc.), color of markings (white, cream, black, etc.), and opacity (0-100% or more/less). I would be so excited to be able to search through the available cubs/adols/adults this way, I'd probably stalk the market for hours!

Perhaps auto-sell, approved-only sale (like studding requests, the buyer would have to be approved by the cub/adol/adult's owner), and auction options could REALLY make the market explode with activity! Approved-only sales could also boost the activity in the player-generated clubs who might choose new owners based on club criteria and strengthen the in-game community by encouraging players to join and create more clubs. Since clubs also tend to band together to buy Oasis items, it might also increase sales there.

I'd be thrilled if there was an option to generate a preview of the cub/adol/adult as an adult of the same or opposite sex instead of having to open up a second window and meticulously place all of the markings in the proper slot AND at the proper opacity. I think this would probably nudge me into buying a few more sex changers for exactly the right cub, and it'd help me diversify my bloodlines, too.

I think this would really energize the market and make people more likely to hold on to those not-quite-perfect cubs a little longer to see if anyone's looking for them on the market before chasing them off. I'm often finding myself doing just that because I don't feel like entering all of the cub's information into the Oasis picture generator, taking a screen shot of it, saving it to a photo hosting page, resizing it, copying it on to the Stockpile forum, entering the price, explaining my policies, and babysitting the thread. With a market like this in place, there is also security for the current owner and the buyer, as the Market would act as the "middleman" just like the Trades section does.

I absolutely love this game, really enjoy the updates (ESPECIALLY the interactive "Explore" feature, which is even better than I'd hoped for), and every time an update comes out, I'm even more invested in it! An improvement in the market would just be all the better...

Yes! I think this is definitely worthy of support. I've also thought of ads with images of cubs that you could pay for with GB. I think Alacrity has something similar.
