Does anybody else think we should get some sb or GB for chasing off our lioness after all no one wants to chase off a lioness I know if I could get them back I would but I think if we spaces them off we should get a certain amount of money The amount could be based on stats or marking.... Tell me what you think!

I am sorry, but this idea was officially declined by the developers in their official suggestions for the cub market, because of the inflation it would cause on the market. People would mass-breed on each accounts to get easy SB (They would never give GB for free). SB would flood the market even more, making the situation worse.

SB is easy to get, if anything, we need more ways to spend that money instead of getting more.

Last month's event offered something similar, where you could sacrifice, but I think it's going to be a that-event-only kind of thing.

I will go against the popular opinion and say I think it's a good idea if the SB amount given for chasing was minimal. There's so many lions out there that have no home to go to and just sit in trade forever because nobody wants it. Why not prompt people to chase the unwanted by offering a perk for doing it?

This is why I loved the sacrificial stone from last event. I bet it cleaned up the servers of "trash" lions quite a bit!

If not money for chasing lions, then some other perk then? Either way, OP, you're on the right track ;)

I think no reward for chasing them off is just fine lol. I do it all the time, i don't bother to sell lions. If people don't want to chase them, they'll just sit in their lair eating food and not selling unitl they get chased *shrug* i don't think an incentive is necessary

For the reasons Axel listed, and because then you'd have people claiming NCLs they don't need specifically for the reward of chasing them away. As others have said, SB is not hard to come by =)

A minimal SB amount (1-3 SB) would not coax people into chasing either. They would just push their lions into the market.

If you give too much, like 10-50SB per lion, then people would chase in mass and get too much income every three days of breeding for example.

This is why SB is never a good idea.

Like Vapor said, last month's event gave Impression, Energy and EXP (and sometimes a little SB but that's not necessary), which I think was awesome. I hope it was included because the programmers wanted to "test" it for permanent inclusion on the site.

I don't recall anyone saying "SB is HARD" xD

They are only suggesting some kind of compensation for chasing off unwanted lions vs. throwing them into the market to sit and rot and clog up server space.

People ALREADY "mass breed" trying for mutations and the new special bases etc. Hell, my friend just told me she had SIXTEEN births today alone... Don't you think there should be an "outlet"? I would think something would eventually 'bottle-neck' at some point...

But there is an outlet: Chasing them. if people would just chase them XD I just don't understand why there needs to be more compensation. I thought the incentive was just to get rid of the lion, to be able to stop feeding them and free up your territory. THat's compensation right there =3 I'd think that after a good while of the lion not selling and just eating all the food, it'd eventually get chased without any necessary incentive to chase it

I just don't understand why every single lion needs to bring profit in. If you're [general you] mass breeding lions, then I think it's silly to expect to be able to sell every single one of them. Especially if trying for mutations, which gives NCL coats usually that sell even less often.

I don't know XD I just don't see it as necessary. I'll probably cease adding my opinion now and just watch the resulting conversation with interest *shrug*

Compensation of any kind whether it be small food items or maybe small toys and such or maybe lower percentages of impression or experience could effect players chasing the lions .
Alot of players are hesitant to chase and instead the lions sit in threads or the TC until someone buys it to chase it or it dies .

Support only if it isnt site currency .

I think its because "chasing" sounds too "harsh" to somebody who is "good hearted" and they don't want their lion to be chased away forever and feel bad about it or whatever.

I'd bet if it was called something other then chase like "release" or something that more people would actually do it. It's more of a subconscious thing really.

I for one just want to say I have no problem chasing off my pixel lions that I know that nobody can benefit from.

Perhaps if a point system was implemented. You chase a lion, you get a point. Enough points and you can claim some sort of reward like a scar decor or something, perhaps with lower uses than the original? Not saying rare decors or anything, but scars, maybe monkey shop items. It'd have to be a high amount too, like maybe 50 points (?) to claim one reward.

I don't know, just thinking out loud here.

SootSprite you can use it if you'd like XD But I'd have to imagine there's something wrong about it. Like it would lower the price of scar decors probably. I don't really think lots of people buy those anyways, but that's just me.

Perhaps each week there are desired things in the 'wild'? They could be base coat, marking, eye color. Either way I think people deserve /something/ for chasing off lions because as mentioned it is difficult. The unwanted lions are beginning to clog up breeding and such. I think Plagued idea is really good.

I like plague's idea.

And I'm not forgetting your original idea either eragon. Compensation is fine with me as long as it isnt site currency as previously stated by other players.
