Hey guys! This is my first suggestion <3 So I was looking at the amount of members we have on this site, and amount of lions on this site. I saw how many members we gain each day, and estimated the TONS of members we will have in like- a year. I stared at it for a few good minutes, and then I wondered... One of the main rules on this site is that lions must always have unique names. Sounds good, right? Wrong. We have thousands of members on this site and thousands of lions. So if for every member means a lion, and every lion means a name, then wont we eventually run out of names? In a year or two, there will be like- no names left. And what will we do then? We will have names like, "ahdifjdk" because all the good ones will be taken! So.... What if once a lion dies, then you should be able to use that name of the passed lion, only if you have a reroll, joining, or are naming the next heir. Saying once a lion turn 15 years, they will still have that name in dynasty but another user name/rename their lion with that name. Then once that lion dies, it will be used again for renaming/naming, and so on. So, if you retire your lion and want to use a former name of a passed lion, then you shall. It was so frustrating trying to name two of my pass kings (Alder and Arthur) just because someone inactive had those names. Those kings were based off of my rp characters too, so I was disappointed I couldn't have their names be normal. I full support.  0 players like this post! Like? |

Well you can rename kings the names of dead kings, my friend keeps the same name for all of his kings, but the inactive kings are a big issue. I personally think there should be something where if you're inactive for x number of months, you lose the rights to the name and someone else can take it, and you have to rename your king once you return to the game. 0 players like this post! I think 6 months, half a year, would be fair. By that point it's not just a trimester of hard school work or a vacation without wifi, you've actually stopped playing and will have largely lost your attachments to the game pieces. Maybe if you know you will have something happening that keeps you from playing you can pm a mod and talk about reserving your name or something, but that would be more complex. 0 players like this post! Guys this thread is from 2013 Inactive studs already lose their names after a certain amount of time. I was inactive for a little over a year and I lost both my kings' names and had to pick new ones when I logged back in. 0 players like this post! I've seen inactive kings that haven't been on for years and I still couldn't use their name. And I know this thread is from 2013, it's still a good idea. [EDIT] Alder (one of my kings) wasn't able to just use Alder, because someone has been inactive since 2016, same for my previous king, Arthur. 0 players like this post!
