I was thinking the other day,

about the whole no money for promises thing, and additionally I saw a thread about someone offered a free studding, and they sent their lioness over.. and didn't get her back.

So, I had an idea.

What if people, who wanted to exchange free breedings for other goods, if they have a breeding guarantee or just offer the odd free breeding, could issue a 'Stud voucher'

that could be used, and have to be accepted like a studding, and remove a slot. (Or to be hiatus/Dishonesty proof, automatically breed without permission once redeemed. The user would get a notification saying User __ has redeemed their breeding so they would know where a slot poofed too xD and if they want to be mega butts and close to public studding to avoid redeeming, the voucher would still be valid and take it out of their energy regardless) But means that no one has to risk anything, and people are legitimately getting their free breeding's, something for the promise they paid for.

This could either be specific to the stud & User ID meaning they can't sell it on. (Or not User ID specific so they could sell it on)

It could possible cost a small fee to issue, say 50SB and you say how many free uses of breedings, and how many they can redeem per week, to your stud, and what user. like a gift certificate.

I just thought it might be a nice little idea... thoughts?

Actually, promising free studding to people is banned. That specific example you stated is exactly why...too many people are being cheated by other players.

Im aware of that Inchy...

But this would be a way around it meaning people can still do free breedings for decors or helping with the stud by issuing them a studding voucher..

which means they get the free breeding, no risk.

And one that you give for unlimited free breedings!! But you should be able to "take back" and unlimited breeds you give.

I dont know about 'taking it back' for unlimited, maybe not give it unless you mean it xD and it could only be used once a week, until the stud is retired then becomes void?

Eh. I think it'd probably just work out better if there was a 'leasing' sort of option where your lion would return to you after x amount of time. Then bred lionesses would be returned after x amount of days and cubs reserved would keep aging even if the person is not logged in and will be transferred to the buyer upon adolescence. For lionesses, you could click little checkboxes that say if they can hunt, be bred, or be chased and a little thing could appear in text above their page like the breeding cooldown that says "This lioness (or cub) is on a lease (or reserved) until (insert date here)!" Of course, then people would complain that lions don't lease lions in the wild. Yeah, they also don't collect little beetles for currency and trade them for items. :I

So, on the fence about supporting or not.

If you are getting a free studding or paying to stud the old way then you should take something of equal or more value to ensure you get your lion back ^^ that would be my advice anyway

I know what you mean Ruby XD you can't really pick and choose what's realistic on Lioden because there's some things that are but just as many that are not. There's a line between realism and enjoyment game play wise, least in my opinion. But you can't satisfy anyone.

I like your idea though :)

Agreed. I got (willing) help with my current stud. People sent Items on their own, so I gave them free breedings :D So, instead of me sitting here every time they request a breeding, and try to figure out if they had a free breeding or not xD

That must of been tricky Queen XD

That's why i'd like people to get behind this idea, most people on lioden are trusting and generous, and if this was implemented no one would be getting ripped off, and as a plus you wouldnt have to remember who you gave breedings to :P

Free breedings works for a lot of people, unfortunately theres some dishonest people ruining it for everyone else, if we can install this method, then they are out of business and everyone will feel a bit safer. I think it will benefit everyone. They could be used as gifts, raffles, and in response to donations for stud improvements ect. Kindness is a big part of lioden and so many people would not be where they are now stud wise and lioness wise if other had not chipped in
