Like many I've noticed that special bases can only produce the colors that were released before it. For example, prunes can produce cocoas and prunes and fiery lions can produce fiery, prune, and cocoa. That made absolute sense before all of the custom bases were released, but now that a lioness of all five of the special bases has been raffled it just seems quite odd since none of the bases are really "more special" than the others. I see no reason why maroon should be the only special base that can produce all of the others. Therefore I suggest that special bases should be able to produce all other special base colors. |

I kind of like that the maroons are the only ones that can produce all five. If all of the coats can produce every other coat, we'll just end up with a saturated market, as we're already seeing with all the prunes and cocoas that have hit the sales. Unless they drop the pass rate even farther I have to say no support. :(  0 players like this post! Like? |

That's going to happen anyway, Paardine. And anyway if you had all of the special coats producing all of the other special coats there would be more diversity so the market wouldn't just be flooded with say... cocoa cubs. 0 players like this post! I was going to agree with Paardine, but Lollygag has a point. Why try to prevent something that can't be prevented? Besides, once there is one single stud for the color.... They already have decided not to share, Moon. But that's not my concern. These bases are going to keep popping up in the raffle anyway. It just doesn't make sense that the breeding is the way it is. In fact I think it's a mistake because prunes and cocoas can both produce prunes and cocoas. It's just like the forgot to change it when as the other coats were "released." 0 players like this post! As far as I've tested, Prune can only give Prunes out of the special colors. Where have you seen differently Lolly? Also, I think this is just the way they want the colors in the game to work. All the other colors likely work this way too. 0 players like this post! Like? |
