Just a thought here, but I think it'd be great if cubs could wander around and explore a bit. Maybe for 10-15 minutes a group of 5-10 cubs could go out and bring back small carcasses (rat, gerbil, bird etc) and gain 2 random stats each. This could be a payable feature for players with 5-10+ cubs to help those that have desirable markings but low stats become more appealing and easier to sell.

Add-on to this idea. this should only be open to cubs that are able to eat meat, which is I think 5 or 6 mos. old and go until they are 1yr 10mos. old and the group must have an adol with them, maybe a sub male, rather than an adult lioness.

Feel free to make suggestions to this that may improve it!

I think this could be interesting; it could go along with cub mortality, and the brood mother(s) would have to join them. o3o

Full support. I think that cubs get just a few stats of their parents and they should have more or at least have a change to boost them

It would be interesting, also, if they have a chance of...not coming back. You would have to be at peace with the gamble of MOAR STATS or DEATH.

I think their would have to be a mortality effect, after all, a young venerable cub going out on its own and living 100%? Nah. This is where an additional feature of the brood mother could come in handy though. They could take the cubs out to learn some skills (or just get in trouble or find items)

I think that sounds like such a good idea. I think cubs should be able to do something rather than not being able to do anything until they are older!

No support.
Cubs at that age would easily be snatched by a predator. No matter if one adol or the submale would go with them. Cubs -when exploring- wouldnt stick close to their 'overseer' and they surely cannot pull themselves 4-5 different ways to save all cubs when a pack of hyenas come running or whatever predator lurks about.
This is why cubs so young stay about the pride's base territory where a few lions look out for them and they can play there.

If this was implemented, then there should be a 50-50% chance that they will survive the adventure or not.

And adding this feature to 5-10+ cubs puts massbreeders once more in advantage. Does this mean, that people who dont breed for the market wouldnt be able to have their cubs wander around? Why?

I would like to see this features on adols, though. Where they will finally start going about, wander, and try their hunting skills for the first time. Cubs are rarely if ever successful. It would be more logical to bring it in for adols instead. -but only if there is no number of adols limit, that makes no sense to limit it-

Plus, for those who say that you can do nothing with cubs: I do hope that cub mortality will be added with the survival bar. Then you should have more interactions with them. But what do you expect from cubs? They are small, weak, need to be protected. They will not do much while this small.

I don't think they would last long in the wild... if you think about it. They would be killed pretty quickly... BUT Cubs have wandered before. Not sure whether to support or not 0.0

When I read this, I think of TLK when Simba ran off and almost got eaten by hyenas. Orr the time he went into the gorge and got his pops killed. Or the time he ventured into the desert and almost died from exhaustion and dehydration.

Yeahhhh. There's a reason cubs don't wander off. They die. xD If not by a predator, then by a charging elephant, or from an alligator at the waterhole, or by getting lost from straying too far from it's home. It's comical, but with the implementation of cub mortality; I think if we allowed cubs to explore on their own, we would have a 100% mortality rate. x_x

Sorry, No support. ;;
