 Welcome to GroveClan, where the hearts of cats are strong. My name is Settingsun, and I am the leader here. Oh? You ask why my name does not end with 'star'? Well my child, that is because we in GroveClan do not believe in StarClan. We pray to the spirits of the forest, trusting in the fae of wood and earth. Don't worry, you will learn our ways soon enough. For now, follow me... ~ About ~ GroveClan are a semi-traditional Clan. They follow the same rank system (with some different names), but instead of believing in StarClan they have more of a druid approach. They respect the spirits of nature and trees, and believe that when a cat dies they are reincarnated as a part of nature. Kits are given full names by their parents, names which never change throughout their lives. The names are often related to nature. Mousetail is a very short and thin male with a long tail. He had a rather big and round skull, with fluffy cheeks and chin. His neck fur is extremely fluffy and thick. His pelt is jet black with white upper ‘lips’, causing it to look as if he had white facial hair, front legs and tail tip. His ears are a tad bigger than average and his whiskers are long and curly. Personality: Jumpy and always on alert, he seems to have some mental issues here and there, such as phobias and fears over many different objects and things. He is a bit shaky and is not very social when it comes to playing and speaking with other learners, but whenever he gets the chance to speak with higher ranks or cats that understand him, he will spit out words for ages and ages. He is sweet and has a golden heart, but after being teased by his brothers he have gotten a tad depressed, which left him with the ‘I’m not good enough’ attitude. Covered all over in brown spots, along with brown ears, paws, belly and tail, along with a brown stripe down her back. Her tail is rather large despite her size, all fluffy and such, her ears as well. Though her size is considered small she has more strength then others would believe. Personality: Sort of a stubborn little thing, very outgoing and sometimes goes against orders if she sees fit. In her mind she is only trying to do the right thing but sometimes that isn't how it goes, she can be silly and sometimes get off task but at heart she is very loyal to the clan and tries her hardest to make it stronger. A bit snappy to strangers, fierce even and will defend her territory with almost everything she's got. To her clanmates, that's another story, she can be bubbly and playful around her clanmates when times don't call for a serious face. More or less she has impressive fighting skills considering her size, but she still has flaws in how she moves. Nothing compares to her hunting skills though and she happens to spend most of her time out hunting, trying to perfect her skills and provide for the clan, this also allows her to get out into the forest and let her mind relax as well as think important matters over. One of the most noticeable features about this tom is his thick, well-groomed pelt that makes him look bigger than he really is. Judging by the condition that it is kept in, he cares about the way his pelt looks; but the most striking aspect of this cat is his ocean blue eyes that always look focused and observant. His tail, like his pelt, is long, and it drags across the ground as he walks. His body type is built for speed, and he has large paws that are perfect for climbing with. Personality: Reedwhisker is a kind cat with a big heart. He never turns down a cat that is in need of help, and when somebody injures themselves or falls sick he will do everything in his power to make them get better and feel as comfortable as possible. Secretely, he wishes to have a mate and kits, but he doesn't tell many about this. Sometimes he can be a bit grumpy when he's woken up early, and he doesn't like to awoken when he is sleeping unless something important is happening. He becomes flustered when he doesn't do something correctly or of something takes longer than expected, since time is precious to him and he hates wasting it. He takes his job as Druid very seriously, since the event that made him decide to become a Druid was his mother passing away because of an illness when he was a young kit. Once he became a Druid, he vowed to himself that he'd do everything he could to make sure that no kit would have to see their mother dead at such a tender age. Reedwhisker has a good sense of humor and can often be found chatting with others in his free time, making jokes. Even though he seems carefree most of the time, when things become serious his mood will take a dramatic turn. He will become focused and he will prepare for the worst. Even though he doesn't fight often, when he does he uses his speed and quick thinking to an advantage, because he isn't very strong. He has a good knowledge of herbs, like all Druids should. He's always been the kindest to kits. He would die for his clan. Weaknesses: --Water: he can't swim very well, and drowning is his worst fear. This is mainly because his loved ones will most likely not be able to find his body, and drowning seems like a slow death to him. --Kits: if one is in danger, he'll stop at nothing to save them. --Strength: he's never been very strong. Crush: None, but he will probably develop one sometime in the RP. He'd like a she-cat that shares the same interest in kits that he does, as well as having a caring and sweet personality.
