So I was curious, I was at one point a photographer for a shelter, actually two shelters but since working have stopped photographing with them unfortunately. However I still have time for personal photography (Such as weekends on hikes, visits to the zoo, outdoor photography). During my visit to New York I photographed animals at the Bronx Zoo and had a blast. I was looking over several of my photos and came to wonder if I was to open a small art shop based solely on photography if anyone thought I would be able to sell them in real life? Possibly make them into other things such as shirts or mugs or things like that. I would love to actually make some light money off photographs or even become a professional photographer and do it for a living. Here are some examples, what do you guys think? Please be honest, but not rude.

Personally, it depends on the pictures. Like, I really enjoyed the photos of the tiger, because it seemed to be natural, like you weren't actually in a shelter. This is just my personal opinion, but photos that look like they've been captured in the wild make the best shots, since they're 100% candid.

I've been to Gir National Park about three times now, and each time I've come across something or the other. The first time we had lions walking right beside our jeep, the second we saw an ambush, and the third, we saw male lions and cubs right after a hunt, so their mouths were covered with blood.

But really, the photos of the tiger are really super cute XD

Oh, my favorite place I have been to take photographs is Yellowstone National Park! It is a wonderful place. This is more just for the quality of it. If I was home and not in New York I would be able to post pictures from my trip to Yellowstone. I definitely prefer wildlife pictures and if I do schooling for it, it would be to become a nature photographer.

It does look like it. And that's the charm of the picture. Just a tiger showing his cub side. Which camera do you use?

I actually just have a regular camera for these, not sure what the other one I use is, it doesn't belong to me I just barrow it. I will have to take a look, but I don't use an expensive one.
