Standing at 6'5", Oliver never had problems seeing over crowds. Working out has never been his strong suit, resulting in thin, gangly arms. Though his legs are toned, due to his almost constant longboarding. Pale, slightly pinkish skin covers his tall, lean body. Covering his head, is a set of black, "flippy" hair. Crystal clear, deep-set blue eyes are found underneath dark, bushy eyebrows. A pointed nose, leads down to large, pink lips. On his nose is a septum piercing, that he would never take out. On his forearm, a simple tattoo rests that says, "Gone too far". Across his knuckles read the words "Stay Gold", which he had done only a few months ago. In his ears, there are small white gauges that are only about the size of a pencil. Though he would never show or tell anyone, he does pluck his eyebrows when they get too out of control. Oliver shaves his fuzz and never let it grow out beyond stubble.
Personality:
When people first see Oliver some see a tall guy with empty eyes. Others see a rebellious, smoking teenaged boy. But most don't catch on to hidden part of Oliver's personality. For example I highly doubt over a handful of people could spot the constant revenge and anger that lurk behind his eyes. If someone said they had seen him as a quick learner right away, chances are, they were lying. Many people overlook the small things in others and this is part of Oliver's extensive list of pet peeves.
Being a lazy teenage boy is easy and fairly fun, but Oliver has a hard time understanding he can't stay one forever. He is known for making strong, stubborn judgements against, and for people. He dislikes waiting for anything, as he's impatient.
Even though Oli hates the face that society puts on itself, he knows he falls into the machine at times. It's human nature to judge someone or something by its cover. Everyone does it, even if they claim they don't. He's found himself doing it all the time. When Oliver is talking to someone one-on-one, if he knows people are not to nice to them, he'll try to be a little nicer than usual. Though if people are around, he'll take a step back. It's the way life is, so he just lets everything fall into place.
Oli is the type of boy to pull the whole I'm-bad-and-better-than-you spiel. With his piercings, tattoos, and clothes he pulls the look off easily. His smoking habit and bad attitude, perfects the look.
Just because he isn't a talkative type doesn't mean he won't speak his mind. It doesn't happen often, but when it does he tends to explode with emotion. Even though he may not seem it, Oliver is usually very laid back. Or at least he seems that way on the outside. There are almost always five things going through his mind at once. Because of this it can be difficult for him to stay focused on one task sometimes.
Oliver lacks motivation, and always questions orders with, "What's the point?" or "Won't it be just as important tomorrow?" If someone ever needs mental support for anything, they shouldn't come to Oli. He tends to get tongue tied in tense or serious situations. It can be hard for him to see things through other peoples perspective. So sometimes when it looks like he's just being a jerk, he may really see nothing wrong with what he's doing.
Self esteem is something he has a lot of. One of the more common things that's always lurking in his mind is a cocky attitude. When something bad happens, he slides it on to someone else's plate. Responsibility is definitely lacking in Oliver's life. He hates structure and routines, and would much rather kick them to the side and do what he wants.
Even though he doesn't seem like one, Oli is a quick learner. He has a photographic memory, that aides in his academic life. The only problem being, he occasionally just doesn't do the work. It's not that he doesn't remember, he just doesn't want to do it.

History:
Oliver was born and raised in Olympia, Washington by his mother, Regina Jackson, and his step-father, Hayden Jackson. Only a year after his birth, Oli's real father left him and his mother. Four years later and Regina was married again and with a bun in the oven, nonetheless. It wasn't until he was ten that his father tried to contact him, which left Oliver upset and confused. After the first few emotional calls Oli stopped answering his voicemails and letters. Even though he knew Hayden wasn't his real dad, he was the closest thing he had. But that didn't stop him from rebelling at a young age.
His one role model in life was his teacher, Mr.Ray. Oli saw him as the one person who truly believed in him. When Mr.Ray told him to do something, he did it. He helped him with all his homework and even had him over for dinner with him and his wife. Mr.Ray was the one who taught Oli the pleasures of gardens. He was the one who taught him how to water the plants and when. He was the one who taught him where to cut a rose so it will stay alive longer. He was the one who convinced him he was worth something. Then a phone call came asking for a Oliver Love. When he answered his whole world fell apart, it was even worse than finding out Hayden wasn't his real dad. Mr.Ray had been in a crash and didn't have long. He had requested that Oliver come down there to see him. Racing down there in only sweatpants and converse he made it with only ten minutes to spare.
Oliver has never told anyone what was said in that hospital room and chances are, he never will. But before he had died, Mr.Ray gave him a leather necklace he had planned on giving to him for his birthday. Oli never takes it off. Sometimes when he is finally able to go to sleep he can still remember his guardian angel, bruised and broken beyond repair. Ever since then Oli has let the two F's control his life, flirting and fire. The reasoning behind Oliver's love for fire stems from the accident itself. Mr.Ray had been crushed, smashed and smothered in almost every possible way, but he wasn't burnt. For some reason that made Lincoln completely infatuated with it. Once when Oli was alone with some gasoline and matches he had an accident. All he really remembers was dropping the gas can and the lit match with it. The rest is history.
