That's really good! Here's some tips;

Instead of making it a pure #000000 black, make it a dark dark grey or an off-black, that way you can do some shading and it'll look nicer.

Don't make the background a pure black. It looks like a void. Make it a nice background or, if you want a solid color, transparent or maybe a light color.

This is wIp (Work In progress) I usually do my backgrounds black in this progress ( helps with when i add glow and such)
