Years since Aang and Korra both pasted. Many avatars have come and gone the cycle currently rests with a fire bender. Yet with in the world of bending something is a miss, the Elements are out of balance and No one is sure what the cause it...,But many benders are suddenly unable to bend or people who could never bend in their lives can bend air or fire(etc)...Something is wrong and its the job of the avatar and its friends to find the cause of it..,But the journey wont be easy. Many people are will to just do away with bending completely or feel its time for a change in power. But perhaps in the end it will all be worth it....

Central City Station buzzed with life and excitement, even more on this day than any other. Group of 20 or so people, mostly youngsters, gathered in a semi circle in front of one of the cargo wagons of the just arrived train from the city of Zaofu.
"Look at the size of it!" "Yes, it's huge!", were just some of the comments from the crowd. Cause for such comments was a fully grown male of an Armadillo lion lazily sprawled across the platform.
Woman in her twenties stepped out of the wagon, carrying a customized saddle in her arms. Her deep green orbs stared in mild shock at the crowd around the wagon.
"Look at you Ves, stealing the show again.", she commented with a chuckle as she began adjusting the saddle onto Armadillo lions back. By the time she finished, the crowd got smaller and only the bravest and most patient ones remained. Audience gathered sighed in awe as the Armadillo lion stood up; it's shoulders at the same height as the woman next to it. Youngsters dispersed in hurry to tell about the large animal to their friends, leaving woman to her own business. She took Ves' rains, leading him out of the station where she stood for a moment admiring Lord Zuko's statue before, mounting and heading her way.

Republic City was far from Neah's favorite place to be, but if she was to find a water bender willing to teach her anything with the recent problems with bending, it would be here. So the young woman had arrived in the city two days prior, spent the first day sleeping off the remaining seasickness, and the second shopping for new clothes and supplies, in case she had to journey farther to find a teacher.

Now, on the third day, she and Sheo-Glen were wandering about, listening for gossip of strong water benders in an effort to begin finding a teacher. The raven eagle was still feeling the effects of being restricted during their time on the boat, and was acting out. Already, in the half hour they had been out, he had harassed a group of small children playing with a ball, then tried to steal some fish from a fishmonger. After heavy apologising, Neah moved away from the open market and towards a block of eateries, hoping to find some food for her silly bird and some information.

Sheo made a soft purring noise, running his beak through the Avatar's hair and nibbling at a strap of the harness he wore, then suddenly took off. "Ow, Sheo, no! You stupid-" She trailed off as he chased a smaller bird straight into a fabric sign hanging across the street, getting tangled up in it and panicking. As he struggled, he grew more and more tangled, and screeched in panic, drawing a bit of a crowd.

"Oh come on," Neah muttered, drawing in a deep breath and moving her hands in preparation to use air bending to free her companion, before he gave a particularly strong flap of his wings and flipped himself and the banner over, becoming covered completely by the lettering on the sign.

With a sharp exhale, Neah quickly shoved her arms up and forward, fire blossoming into existence and burning the cloth away from the raven eagle, leaving what wasn't wrapped around him intact as she rushed forward to catch and leash the avian. She rubbed the shoulder he had scratched in his rushed takeoff, looking around her gloomily at the crowd, and upset workers of the restaurant whose sign she had burned.

"Erm. Sorry 'bout that. I can pay for it?" She winced as a couple of people within the crowd whispered, the word 'avatar' becoming louder and louder as the crowd picked up on the whispers.

Tam wasn't having a particularly good day. He'd stopped by to drop off some things at home and mentioned to his mother he was meeting Kilma for lunch. Big mistake. She had immediately started fussing about his appearance, and she refused to let him leave the house until she'd at least fixed his hair. "He's a good boy, and I don't want you going out there looking like a little urchin! They'll look at you and think, 'what's that boy's mother doing, letting him go out like that?'" she fretted, trying in vain to slick his hair back until she was finally satisfied.

This meant Tam left several minutes later than he intended to, and now he was going to be late to meet Kilma. Unacceptable. Tam was not the kind of man who was late to anything, ever. Until today, anyway.

The sidewalks were fortuitously sparse, and for a blessed moment Tam thought he was finally catching a break, and sure he'd be a few minutes late, but it would be fine--

Nope. Big crowd. Why.

"'scuse me, terribly sorry, my bad," he mumbled, quickly edging around the sudden group of people. Fine, fine, he could deal with all of this--

As he turned a corner, Mal let out a disgruntled hissing hoot into his ear, causing Tam to stop dead in his tracks, just before he crashed face first into an armadillo lion. He jumped out of the way, flashing a quick, apologetic smile to its rider before he bustled away. This was good! He was just about to get to the cafe where he was meeting Kilma, and they would have a pleasant lunch and all would be well.

Except there was another crowd, one much denser this time, too dense to make it all the way through. He tried anyway, gently shouldering past, pausing as he saw one lone girl at the center of the crowd. "The avatar," someone whispered beside him in wonder, and he froze, his chest tightening. On the one hand, she was here, here to solve all their problems and fix his mother's bending, but on the other hand...

"I can't believe even the avatar's conspiring against me today," he muttered mutinously, garnering a few murderous stares. Whoops. Maybe he said that a little too loudly...

Kilma leaned up against the wall of the cafe, shading his eyes with one hand as he peered up the street from the direction that Tam was sure to appear in. It was incredibly rare for his friend to be late--even Kilma, chronically late to everything, had been on time today. Hopefully nothing bad had happened to Tam.

He heard a commotion up the street, and turned his head in time to see a huge raven eagle entangle itself into a shop banner. The woman that Kilma assumed was its owner was preparing herself for some sort of bending. An air bender? Kilma detached himself from the wall, stepping closer to watch. They were still relatively rare--she had to be a descendant of Avatar Aang. Interesting.

His eyes widened in surprise when the air instead transformed into fire, and she lit the banner ablaze to free her companion. Her bird was now safely back into her own hands, but the edges of the fabric were still smoldering.

Kilma jogged over, flipping open the top of the water pouch he kept at his side. He ignored the murmurs of the crowd, drawing out the water and dousing the banner to put out the remaining fire.

“Well, that’s a bit more excitement than I thought I’d see today,” Kilma said to the woman, grinning as he folded his arms behind his head. He started to excuse himself to head back to the cafe to wait for Tam when he heard a voice.

“I can’t believe even the avatar’s conspiring against me today.”

Kilma glanced at the crowd, spotting Tam rather easily because he was so tall. “Tam! There you are! I’ve been waiting for you for twenty minutes! I thought for sure that you must’ve been eaten by a catgator or something!”

Ella walked out of an alley way in Republic City on the way to get some food for Mei Mei, her polar bear dog. Walking up to the butchers shop she bent over to take a better look at the meat.

Mei was just sitting there panting like a lost puppy, drooling at the sight of all that meat.

"Um yes how much is that one," She says pointing to the biggest steak.

"That will be 20 dollars mam," replied the butcher with respect.

"Alright I will get one of them thank you." She payed the butcher and took the bag with the steak. When she walks away she feels a tugging on the bag.

"Mei! Bad girl you can eat it once we get home," She scolds lightly. The dog let's go and follows behind Ella as they continue walking.

A crowd catches both of their attention and Ella goes in for a closer look. Is that? It is the Avatar!
