I really like the gold color group, and I thought I'd show it some love with a few bases/mane bases. I'm hoping maybe these might be good enough to perhaps turn some heads over to the fine qualities of golden lions if they're accepted!

PYRITE (aka Fool's gold)
Perhaps Gold/Dark/Countershaded, linked with dark nose? NO LINEART VERSION

With markings:

VERMEIL (Sterling silver gilt with gold)
Gold/Light/Countershaded, apricot nose? NO LINEART VERSION

With markings:

ORMOLU (A technique of gilding bronze with gold-mercury powder)
Gold/Medium/Solid, sandy nose? NO LINEART VERSION

Let me know what you think, if you have any tips or different versions you might like to see, whatever! If people like these I might try making some with different sexes/ages/manes/mutations just to see what they'd look like.
