Whik couldn't help but think about the food he would soon have his jaws on when his stomach growled. He eyed the four dogs surrounding a dead racoon. Whik woukd at least get a leg. He knew he wouldn't get the whole thing; that raccoon was huge! He stalked out from behind the trashcan and towards the garbage bags. Then, he shot out, tore of the hind leg of the body, and shot away before the dogs had any idea what had happened. He heard a few growls and whimpers as he turned the corner, but no one followed him.

Didi continuously chewed at a leftover bone. There were only a few scraps of meat to scrape off. There was barely any food to steal anymore from these packs. She and her brother was nearly just skin and bones, and food was no where to be found. All the two had was rotten meat, bones, and dirty rain water. Wish is currently looking for atleast something in the dumpsters.

Echo wandered around some houses, looking for some trash. She saw a big, black garbage bin, in a fenced yard. The fence was short, she can easily jump over it. She stood on her hind legs, ready to jump. She kicked her back legs up, launching her into the air. She hopped over the fence. Looking at the garbage bin, she licked her chops, and pushed it over. She smelt meat, a lot of meat. She was very skinny, she teared open a bag, which had some fresh steak with a container. She ripped the container open, and smelt it. Seems like they don't like meat, Echo thought. Who wouldn't? Wasting meat like this! But at least she found it in time. She bit into the rich flavored meat. She ate all of it, but she looked outside, staring at some starving Dalmatians. Poor things. She grabbed another container of meat, and trotted over to the dogs, dropping it at their feet.

Wish looked over his shoulder at the shepard and jumped down from the dumpster and trotted in front of his sister. He kept a straight face as he looked at the stray dog and at the container of fresh meat. He nodded at the dog as he grabbed the container with his jaws and dragged it further down the allyway as his siter follows. He tears open the package and Wish and Didi chomped down on it, and quite fast. They haven't eaten like this in months, this was something to savour!

Aster | Male | 3 Years, 4 Months | Mentions : Echo | Open for interaction

Aster followed the pack on their search for food, which was sometimes a part of their usual morning routine. A strong gust of wind flew over, carrying a few clutters of dried, brown leaves along its windy path. The cold breeze ruffled his long fur a bit, but he didn't mind much. His mind focused more on his stomach, which was growling slightly louder every several moments. Then, gazing upon the streets at the humans, Aster moved in closer the middle of the crowd of wandering dogs, keeping himself well-hidden from the human passersby and blending in with the pack. He didn't like being looked at strangely at the humans, which sometimes reminded him of his past. That made him dislike them sometimes. Though, he shoved that thought away from his head and then followed Echo to an area filled with several trash cans. He glanced around, looking at all the rows of garbage cans standing as still as a tree before Echo had just knocked a few over and started feeding on the old, leftover meat.

He lifted his snout in the air, smelling the delicious, tempting scent of the partly rotting garbage. He walked forward and behind the German Shepherd and pushed over a garbage can on its side. A large pile of trash, cans, and all sorts of other stuff crashed on the ground and at the side of the walls, making a big, splattered mess. But again, Aster didn't mind at all. He liked being messy. He stuffed his nose inside the pile and sniffed out a tuna can. The lid was gone, though it had slightly sharp edges. Carefully, he licked the remains of the food waste. He licked his muzzle and enjoyed the tasty, fishy tuna for a moment before moving on to some other leftovers of food.

Echo shook her head, and decided to give them another package. She hopped over the fence again, getting 2 more. Only 1 was left, she should keep it. Se trotted over to the Dalmatians, keeping a distance and dropping the packages.

Didi lifted her head and looked over at the two packages. She got up and trotted over to the packages and looked at Echo. ".....Thank you!" She barked with a large smile on her face and started wagging her tail. She was extremely gleeful for this gift! She grabbed the two packages and ran back to her brother. She broke open one of the packs and tore into the fresh meat, her tail was still wagging.

(It's mostly the males who are alphas.
So when a female goes into heat, he will claim her since he's the alpha. But other males will try to fight for her, and if they win, they are leader. It goes over and over again.)
"Your welcome!" Echo barked happily, wagging her tail. She trotted over to the fence, jumped over it, got a package and ripped it open. She ate half, and looked at Aster. She shook her black, dirty coat and gave him half of the container. She looked at the cans he was eating.

Jasper sniffed around the garbage can, looking for something to eat. It had been two days since his last meal but that because he had been traveling, he had been looking for his friend Whisper, but ended up not finding her, so he came back and now was digging in the trash to find something. Suddenly his nose picked up something, and quickly followed it, it seemed to becoming from a small trash can and he knocked it over to comfirm. It was it. The enticing smell was coming from leftover bacon scraps. A delicacy, in his opinion since the only way you could find it was near a butcher (assuming they know what it is). He immediately dug in keeping an eye on the world around him, quickly finishing off the scraps and made his way back to his pack, he had been gone for a few days and hoped he wasn't in trouble for it.

Jewel slowly lifted her head and shook it. It's been weeks since she moved into this place. Luckily no one bothered to even come here, and she was the only one here. Her dark blue eyes gazed around the room. All it had was broken windows, holes everywhere, weak spots in the wood that makes her watch her step, and rats. She sat up in her corner and heard the floor creak under her paws.

The two dalmations tore into the last bits of meat. With their stomachs full they stood up. "Hey..Wish, do you think..we should join a pack? Like with that dog that gave us this?" Didi said, looking over at her brother. "Sister, why would you really ask that?" Wish said, confused. Wish was really close and protective of her sister, he couldn't trust other dogs.
"Well, think about it. We'll get food easier, heck, we might not need to steal anymore brother!"
"I don't think that's a good idea."
"But brother-!"
"Remember what mom told us?.."

Octavia lopes into a new town which reeks of other dogs. She had just traveled a long way from her home in the forest. She was fit from hunting making the voyage easy for her. She trodes into the town seeing starving dogs, if you could even call them that. All they were was skin and bone. From the looks of them, there wasn't much food or small animals to hunt. How would she live in a place like this?
She was about to leave, but then she smelled a whiff of meat close by and she couldn't resist a meal. As she walked, the sent grew stronger and stronger. Then she saw it. It was a large blue trash bin sitting outside a building. She had one problem though. There were people and people meant danger. Finally, against all her instincts, she rushed to it, knocking it on it's side. She lunged in franticly trying to find the meat. Then she was hid hard in the head. She looked up, only to see a stick swinging for her head. With one quick movement, she lunged for the stick, only to miss it and get hit again. With this she ran in hopes to find more food, or atleast someone friendlier then these people.

Echo quickly ran over to Jasper, welcoming him by friendly licks on the ears, and a very fast tail wag. Her claws tapped around on the stone ground. She didn't mind at all. "Where have you been!? I have found packages of meat! It seems like those people don't like meat, it was full of meat!" Echo barked happily. She wagged her tail as fast as a little puppy would. She likes to be friends with Jasper. Echo looked over to the trash can she knocked over, no one seemed to try and open it. They might be scared, who would be if a big black German shepherd just knocks over things. "I think there still is some meat, or some cans of something." Echo whimpered, pawing Jasper softy.

The shetland stood up and shook her pelt. She looked down at her paws as she slowly padded to the stairs. There were many holes and very weak spots to look out for. Once she made it in front of the stairs, that one step she made...

It seemed like as if the floor gave out, and she fell through the giant hole that was created under her paws.
