((I recently AB a character but the owner hasn't gotten on yet so I don't have the character file yet, but when I get it, I will post it in one of my posts so you can see what he looks like. Milo sat up, yawning as the bright sun made it's way into his room. He jumped out of bed then headed to the bathroom. Today was his first day of normal school. No more having to go to schools that were specialized just for his kind. And those places were always Hell for him. But now, with President Reeves on deck, he could finally attend a normal school and have a normal life. There wasn't anything to hold him back now. After showering, Milo got dressed in a jacket and some shorts to go with it. As he made his way downstairs, Milo caught his mother just before she left for work. "By honey! If I'm late for work again I'll be fired. You know how tough it is." She said, kissing her son on the cheek before rushing out the door. The collie sighed, looking at the time. His eyes went wide when he realized that he would be late for school. Grabbing his bag, Milo ran out the door, shutting and locking it behind him.

Aaron had woke up early, changing quickly into a sweater and a pair of pants after showering. He had grabbed a box of cereal, his bag, and a cup of coffee before kissing his mother bye and running to his car. He arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic with a empty box of cereal. The feline walked into the school to be greeted by a bunch of stares and a line of tardy people outside the principle's office. He stepped in line, ears drooping, as he waited to be given a pass and a lecture about being tardy on the first day.

Milo didn't have a car. Mainly because his driving instructors were always biased towards him, thinking that he couldn't drive. So, he had been forced to walk. He arrived a few minutes late, getting into the tardy line. He got stare after stare as he tried to ignore the looks. Ever since he was born, he had been looked at with those expressions. Disgust? Fear? All of the above. He was sure none of these students wanted him here, but he couldn't care less about that. He was just glad to be in a normal school. He readjusted his bag as a couple of girls whispered about him. He heard the word "weird" more than a couple of times, but he simply pretended not to hear.

Aaron heard snickering and whispers from around him and chose not to listen; assuming he was the only furball that was late. The feline grabbed his pass and made his way to the door. He peeked back at the line and noticed a tensed puppy. He smiled and waved. A short wave of relief flooded him when he realized he wasnt the only anthro late. Then he hurried to science class. He handed his pass to the teacher, who looked like a deer caught in headlights, and sat down in the back.
