I have come to lost a valuable litter for the seccond time due to not being able to nest her since the game entered maintenance,
and my annoyance got the better of me,
so I decided to try to reason with players and see if achieves staff consideration,
because there is few more annoying things than losing a litter, fewer yet due to something is not to the player choice and power, being out of game due to fixes or upgrades that may be in the database...

So, I have to suggest on the day a maintenance gets the site out, in the next rollover there wont be a chance on losing non-nested litters.

This suggestion has 48 supports and 29 NO supports.

Um...you COULD just nest lionesses sooner, or if the game goes down right after breeding one, just nest them when it's back up. I get that losing a litter is bad, but the game never stays down long enough to keep you from nesting lionesses at all (i.e, for a full 3 days.) Just my opinion though.

I could nest sooner, but I have the choice to plan it and not to as is a lost of days they do not "work",
and since we cant exactly predict moment of maintenance, such does not matter much.

I think three days is enough time to nest a litter at some point, especially if its a valuable one. And I'm unsure what the staff could do to offset time lost due to maintenance.

Eh. Three full days is plenty of time to gather supplies and nest your ladies. I've lost litters before, and yeah it can be annoying -- especially if the site goes down -- but that too isn't really something in the staff's control as well. It's our own responsibilities to make sure our lionesses are properly taken care of.

No support, 3 days is enough to make a nest, if you need them to work, make the nest on the third day and not at the last minute.

I agree with everyone above. Three days is long enough. I always nest my girls on the first day. If you explore enough you should have supplies, too. I have never had a problem with it before. But I have had a problem forgetting to nest then using an instant birth. But that was due to my own stupidity XD

I don't really see the point in this-sure, it maybe useful to some, but it doesn't take a lot to gather 6 feathers or buy nesting material within 3 days. I think that's a pretty fair deal, and if you forgot to nest her I'd believe it was your fault. It sounds like you're just trying to bend the site to your personal needs because you refused to nest the lioness before rollover on your own terms, and while it was not purposeful you suffered the little consequences of your actions.

While it is true that nobody can predict when maintenance will occur, I still think that you are responsible for your own actions in this type of problem. If you would have nested her on her first day of pregnancy then this wouldn't have happened, and now you are trying to pin it on maintenance.

I by all means did not mean for this post to be offensive, but I just think this site is not required to have this implemented. Sure, it would be a nice little convenience feature and I would not mind this being added, but I just wanted to throw my two cents in.

No support. I hunt my pregnant Lionesses but on the last day I always nest. I find server maintenance never takes excessively long, compared to the 24 hours I have to nest my girl in.
Server maint or not- it is the user's responsibility. There is plenty of time even when wanting to hunt them~

We have the opportunity of three days, therefore we are not obliged to do so on the first, nor seccond,
while we should do as soon on third, I could not do so for the maintenance prevented me from logging.

to blame the user for something is out of his control and usually without notice being unable to access, is on best harsh, on worse, lazy.

While I do not condone staff or the needs that urge a maintenance, or time down; usually things that need fixing as fast as possible and cant be left for later for users sake, then it should have some sort of consideration. To be left on the wild so to speak is a bit of a disregard.

I did not asked for any payment back or ensurance over the facts that passed, and so I am not wanting to get anything over "my own faulty actions" as some put, and in that seems I need to point out clearly, since some think I am trying to make a buck out of misfortune.
What I think is to avoid the future problem that may occur with anyone, and try to ply to good nature,
instead of "I dont got throught this problem, therefore I dont mind it, so I dont want it to be easy on others, I take the loss of nesting at first day, the other be dammed if they dont".

How many times did you log on, on the third day of her pregnancy? If you logged on at least once before the maintenance, you could have nested her before. I'm just pointing it out.

I did not say you were ever obliged to nest her, as nesting a lioness is a completely free option. I was just saying that this could have been prevented.

The three days we have to nest is fair enough. If you take a gamble and don't nest earlier rather than later, well, that's all on you. Accept that you took the gamble and lost. Twice. "Shame on you is you fool me once, shame an me if you fool me twice," as the saying goes. Everyone knows that shit happens, so it's ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry. Own up to your decision to not nest until the last day, instead of asking lioden to do something about it.

...Just nest earlier?

Have other lionesses work for her. I waited til the last day to nest my main huntress, but I /still/ made sure I had time to actually nest her.

Plus: the nesting thing is a challenge of the game.
