Shifters of Sydria: The Forbidden

Sydria, a world which belonged to the shifters for billion of years and specific shifters who carry their individual powers, due to their heritage. Sydria is seperated from that of the human world in order to prevent conflict amoung the two different species. Sydria citizens were forbidden to enter the human world no matter what the circumstances were and were forbidden to breed half-bloods and mixed breed shifters. These rules were soon broken. The Satsuki family were the very first shifters to break these rules. Aster Satsuki, the half brother of the king of Sydria, married a wolf shifter secretly and bred a child who will soon be targeted by the king in fear he may one day take over the throne. Ten years later, after the birth of the mixed breed shifter, the king finally located their location and killed Aster.

The she-wolf ran away with her child and fed him her blood in order to lock away his powers and to prevent him from transforming in the future. This spell cost her, her life. A cheetah shifter took the child away and took him to the human world where this child, Zeriko Satsuki, will be hidden from the king. 6 years later, a pure-blood shifter, Jack Campbell who's family got ambushed by rouges, and escaped with injuries, ran into an abandoned cabin to heal. He begins exploring around the cabin which was unused for a long time but found out many terrible things inside the cabin. He ran off in terror and found a cave. He entered the cave and found an open gate. Curious, he entered the gate, and found himself in another world. Now he struggles in finding a way back. Both shifters will soon struggle with the obstacles that they will face throughout their journey in the human world. Will they return home to Sydria? Will they be able to take down their enemies? Can they find their true powers that lurk within their souls as shifters?

Here are the elements and power in which the shifters use in Sydria:

66ed4ede07f4f03ccd8be8d46d6e159d.jpg
Power/element: Ice (rare)
Description:Zeriko's wolf name is Zero, due to the low temperture when he transforms. When he shifts into a wolf, he is 36 inches in height and weighs about 130lbs. He has a silver pelt with crystal blue eyes. He is built in muscle and quite broad. If he is touched during his transformation, the victim will freeze to death. If touched during his wolf form, the victim will freeze but is still alive. When he is about to transform, his black hair will turns silver, eyes turn misty, and his skin turns pale. As a shifter with ice powers, he is able to turn himself into ice in order to defend himself from silver weapons.

Satsuki's Lion Form:
53d7d78a24238.jpg
Power/element: Unknown(will be revealed throughout the rp)
Description: Zeriko's lion form comes from his father Aster. Due to having two different shifters as parents, he was able to inherit their abilities and their shifter. Since Zeriko hasn't been able to shift into his lion form, like his father, we have no idea what happens when he is a lion. So basically Zeriko has no idea what his lion form powers are and his appearance.

Personality: Zeriko is a queit guy who doesnt like being surrounded by others. Due to his past, he will find it hard to trust on other people and he is hungry for revenge. He could be quite sarcastic and isnt afraid to say his opinions out loud. He is a fighter and would jump into a lot of fights. He doesnt care about what others say and he keeps his emotions to himself.

Background History: Zeriko was born in his family's cabin when his parents went on a vacation which was located in the woods. His father was a lion shifter and his mother a wolf shifter. Due to the fact of having two-different Shifters as parents, he was hunted down by many enemies who finds Zeriko as an enemy to their society. When he was 10, his enemies found out his family's location. They were able to kill his father and his mother died on feeding him with her blood. In order to lock his power away, he must feed on the blood of either of his parents. Before he fled for refuge alone, he refuses to leave his parents behind but was forced to do so when a man grabbed him and carried him away. The man was able to take him to the human world away from the world of the beasts, Sydria. Zafar, the man who carried Zeriko towards the human world, took him in as his own and fed him with the human blood he would steal from the hospitals in order to keep his powers locked. By the time he was 13 he stopped. However, when Zeriko heard the news that Zafar was murdered, his anger grew, and when he killed the men who murdered his foster father, all his anger broke the spell and woken his shifter powers.

Strength/ Weaknesses:

Strength-> He is loyal to those who he sees deserves it. Although he may seem as a very sarcastic guy to others, it just shows he is only trying to be friendly. He is somehow, unusaly , easygoing.

Weakness-> He has a rough attitude and doesn't like taking orders from others which others may say, "You are going to dig yourself a pretty early grave." He takes things seriously and is quite hard to get him to change his mind.

Player: Weeping Regrets(#63441)

Jack Campbell:

Age: 17

Race/Breed: Wolf

Campbell's Wolf Form:

Screen%2BShot%2B2015-06-21%2Bat%2B3.43.4
Power/element: Magic(rare)
Description: His wolf form is a pure black wolf with blue highlights running through his long, silky fur. His eyes are pure ice blue, and glow with his magical power. He has big paws, and a blue band runs around the base of his neck, shifting from dark blue to light blue tones regularly. His whole body radiates a magical aura.

Personality: Jack is a very relaxed person. Anything that happens to him, he just takes it in his stride and deals with it. It takes a lot to phase him, but this can make him lazy sometimes and unmotivated. He loves his power as a shape shifter, and often shape-shifts just for the pure sake of it. He's confident and a romantic, and dates a lot, loving just being with people in that way. He's easy to get along with, and has a good sense of humour.

History: Jack was born into a family of proud wolf-shifters, who take it all very seriously. They're always pushing him and his two older brothers to morph often, to work out and stay in general good shape, in both forms. Though Jack loves his family, he feels overbeared at times, and sometimes just wants to get out. His father has a habit of pushing him and his two brothers too far, and one time, when Jack was younger, one of his brothers was badly injured on a hunt, breaking his leg so badly that he almost lost it. His brothers are blind to how pushy and cold-hearted their parents are, and follow them loyally, but Jack can't, especially after the accident, and the many that have followed, meaning that he argues with his parents often.
Other than his family, Jack has a pretty average past, with no real life- and personality-changing events.

Strengths/Weakness:

Strengths: He's easy going, and finds it easy to talk to and get on with others, meaning that he earns other people's trust easily. He is also in very good physical shape, and masters both his human and wolf body with ease. He's also incredibly loyal to those that he feels deserve it.

Weaknesses: He can be lazy and unmoved. He also doesn't think things through before leaping into the action, meaning that he often ends up in sticky situations. He can also be oblivious to many things, meaning that he can miss key points and information easily in any kind of situation.

Player: Emerald(#96405)

Healing Chart:

Wounds-> 45 mins in order to heal completely.

Fractured or broken bones-> 1 hour to heal completely

Silver objects(anything that is silver)->Takes a whole day to heal. However it depends on how the character is treated and how much pain they can handle. However, once healed they will recieve a scar.

Note: *Please note that this roleplay is 1x1. Also, this wont follow the traditional shifter myth or whatever its called lol. This is a different sort of shifter. These shifters carry a a special power that is passed down to them based on their bloodlines. Each transformation have its own individual power. Which you will soon see throughout the rp

Running footsteps covered the pavement. The sound of angry and tired men broke the silence of the night. As he ran to escape them, his legs screamed with exhaustion. His breathing was faint and his lips were dry as the cold wind hit his face as he ran. He didnt need to look behind him in order to see if they were still on his heels, he could hear their footsteps, which were closing in on him. These men aren't just ordinary people. They were shifters, just like him. They work for the king, Asriel, who was the main murderer of his family. As these shifters ran, their footsteps turned to pawsteps which fell silently on the soft grass. He wasn't going to shift just yet. Just wait.

He gave out a loud curse as he realized they just led him into a trap. 'How the hell did I get myself into this situation?' He turned to look over his shoulder, his unusal bright amber eyes widen as they surrounded him. Half of them were cheetahs as the other half were leopards. There eyes glow with excitement as they finally were able to trap the young male.

"You wont be able to escape from us now, Zeriko Satsuki. Son of Lord Aster Satsuki and Amelia Satsuki." Their snarls were deep, there was no doubt anger filled in their tired features. Zeriko took a pace back, his palm touched the brick wall. He could try jumping over them in order to flee towards the forest that was only a mile away. He heave with frustration and he narrowed his eyes at the shifters. It was live or die and he wasnt on planning to die just yet.

"You asked for it." His Jet black hair began to turned silver and began to take over his body, bones cracking and shifting to form the shape of the wolf. A deep roar escaped from the lead leopard's lips. "DON'T LET HIM TRANSFORM! ISSAC, RUNNER, AND NIKO. PUT HIM DOWN!" The three who were mention leaped forward. Zeriko turned to face them and gave out a growl. The cheetahs, Runner and Issac, pinned him down and Zeriko gave out a smile. "Bad idea." They gave out a "mrrow" of laughter, only to start screaming in great pain and all of a sudden the moon was tainted with blood. The third cheetah, Niko stared with utter shock and the fear scent began to take over. He stared at them with his ice blue eyes and before the lead cheetah was able to leap fourth ignoring what just happen before his eyes, Zeriko leaped out of the way, land ing behind a scrawny leopard who was paralized with fear. His paws thundered on the hard pavement, running towards the forest. He avoided the lights that were beginning to turn on as they heard the sounds of screaming. He ran into the forest, his face hit with the ferns and the bramble which shimmered as the moonlight hit it. Once he felt he had distanced himself from the shifters he layed down and shifted back into his human form, his black hair covered his eye. "That was a close call."

//What sort of terrible things will he find in the cabin? I don't really know what to include

The cabin creaked and moaned loudly as merciless wind bashed at its windows, walls and roofs, like a crazy madman trying to get in. Rain lashed down on the roof as the night storm raged on, but all this went unnoticed by the sole inhabitant of the said cabin. The inhabitant was a young male with dark hair, and pale skin that glowed softly in the moonlight that shone through the window as it shook in its frame. The boy was currently asleep, and his bloodied and bruised body was curled in on itself, his tattered clothes providing no barrier between his body and the cold. As he slept, a frown crept across his lips and creased his forehead, his whimpers occasionally sounding under the crescendo of the storm raging around his little haven.

When he awoke, the boy would think back to what had caused him to be alone and injured in the cabin, separated from his family and everyone that he knew. It had just been a simple training exercise, like his father organised for him and his brothers every evening. They had been practising fighting in their magical lupine bodies, taking it in turns to spar with each other whilst the boys' mother looked on. Then the area around them had exploded, and suddenly the family were thrown into the heat of a completely unexpected battle. Creatures had flown at them, claws extended, their bodies shimmering with power - shifters like the boy and his family. Hopelessly outnumbered, they had fought bravely, but the other shifters had known what they were doing. The boy, then still in his wolf form, had screamed until his throat was sore as silver blades bit through his skin again and again. Eventually, he'd broken away and fled. Exhausted and critically injured, he'd run until he came across an abandoned cabin. Too shell-shocked and injured to do anything else, he'd limped inside and collapsed just inside the threshold, morphing back into his human form before falling into a deep restless sleep. That was when the storm had begun.

When he awoke, he would wonder if his family had survived the attack; he would wonder what had caused the attack; he would examine the permanent scarring on his body from the silver blades; he would wonder how long he would be stuck that cabin before he could even move. But, for now, Jack Campbell slept.

Zeriko's eyes flew open, something telling him he has slept half the night deep in the forest. As his eyes adjusted to the brightness of the sun, he sat up, groaning in pain. His body was sore and bruised and he stared at them with bewilderment. He looked around at his surroundings, a bit confused on how he ended up here. As he was about to stand a pang of pain rattle his skull. Then his memory returned. He was running away from a huge group of men who all of a sudden transformed into cheetahs and leopards. He leaned on a tree, resting his forehead against his palm. "Great. My life all of a sudden went back to hell." He muttered, and removed his palm. Once he felt stable and control over his body, he pulled himself from the tree and padded away towards the exit of the forest. His feet had a mind of their own, as they dragged him back towards the entrance of the forest.

As he padded out of the forest a girl, about fourteen years old came running towards him. "Zeriko! Zeriko! Have you heard those dreadful screaming last night? They sounded as if they were in danger but it was close to your area. Are you alright?" As she looked at him with a worried glare a silent gasp escaped her lips as she realized he just came out of the forest, clothing torn into pieces leaving him a bit naked. "GAH! WHAT HAPPEN TO YOU!?! You look like you were just recently coming back from a war!" Her eyes were blazing with terror as she study him from head to toe. He gave a tired, frustrated sigh. 'It's early in the mourning and now im stuck with the neighbor who is two blocks away from me.'

"Hey, Yuki, I got to go and like you said I look super terrible and I look like a piece of shit right now." He stated with a deep growl. He just wanted to run away and lock himself in his foster father's house and be there till his mind has cooled down from yesterday's night event. A month ago, his foster father, Zafar, was killed by three men who were trying to steal his money due to him being very well known and respected due to his social status in the area where they lived. Zeriko came over to help him and killed the group. His anger was over the limit and transformed at the moment of the fight. He was lucky to have killed them before they escaped and reveal his true nature. He walked away, leaving Yuki stranded at the sidewalk, leaving her with a angry scrawl on her face. "God she is annoying." He muttered as he made a turn around the corner and walked towards his place.

OOC: Cabin= Zeriko's family murder= 6 years ago

so basically, you will find some sort of evidence that a murder took place in the cabin and the doings of the king's men due to the bones and armor when Aster tried defending his family in lion form.

//Okie dokie

When Jack's eyes finally fluttered open, the first thing the boy did was let out a long, drawn out groan. Every inch of his body hurt. As he lay there in his pain, the memories of the previous evening came flooding back to him, and he groaned again. What the hell was he supposed to do now? His family could be anywhere: dead, captured, maimed, slaves... the list just went on. Jack felt himself begin to panic, drawing in uneven breaths, his airways beginning to constrict, but he forced himself to calm down, and took a deep breath in. He had to focus on healing himself first, then he would go after them. And if anyone got in his way, boy, they'd better pray for mercy.

Feeling more settled with his decision, the boy moved on to assess the damage to his body, sitting up with a hiss of pain. He'd been in his wolf form during the attack, but the injuries had carried over to his human body, red, angry scars criss-crossing his pale flesh. Most of his superficial wounds had healed whilst he'd been asleep, and he was fairly certain that he'd broken a leg, but that was healed too. There had been deep wounds to his stomach and chest, judging from the blood stains beneath him, but they were no more than thin, white lines now. The only wounds left were the silver ones that had been left. The shifters had slashed at him with silver swords and knives, and red wounds littered his back, chest and throat, making him wince everytime he moved. Also, his muscles ached from the exertion of the fight, and from spending several hours on the floor. Jack figured it would be another couple of hours before he'd be able to get moving again.

Jack groaned once more, out of frustration more than anything else, and moved to lie on his side again. The storm had stopped by now, and the sun was peeking through a little window in the wall behind him, but it was cold and damp in the cabin. The sun illuminated signs of previous inhabitants, but Jack ignored them. He closed his eyes and curled in on himself again, trying not to think about his family.

As he entered; the place was filled with a strange scent. His grip tighten around the handle, his knuckles turning white. He concetrated his ears for any possible sound that may give away that someone is here. 'How many events will I face?' He wondered, his eyes were dim with hatred. He was growing weary and he was growing sick with people chasing after his tail. He loosen his grip from the handle and walked quietly towards the staircase, careful to not alert the "intruder". Once he reached the second floor, the scent was growing stronger and it was coming from his foster father's room. He raised a brow, the scent was strangely familiar but he was careful to watch his footing. He grabbed the handle and quickly entered leaping forth and landed on the person, pinning them on the ground. The person gave out a loud hiss, trying to wrestle his way out from under Zeriko's weight.

"Dude, its me Ahkita." A deep male voice stated with a growl.

Zeriko eyes widen with shock, his fury leaving his features. He pushed away from Ahkita, landing on the hard flooring. "Ahkita? What are you doing here?" Zeriko wanted to smack the older boy for scaring the life out of him. The boy shook the dirt off his clothing. "I heard what happen last night or lets say this mourn-" He stopped as he lifted his eyes to look at Zeriko, his eyes wide and his jaw open but he didn't said anything but only commented. "You had fun."

Zeriko wanted to burst with range. "Its not my fault the dam king wants to cut off my head. I didnt ask to be born this way." Ahkita rampaged through his father's wardrobe and gave out a loud, "Mmmmmhmmm, nice having you as my brother. Life with you was quite interesting. I'll give you credit for that." Zeriko gave out a loud frustrated sigh. Ahkita was beginning to get on his nerve. He stared as finally Ahkita grabbed something from the wardrobe. "AH. Here is my phone dad took from me last month before he died." Zeriko stared at Ahkita, eyes wild, ready to tear him apart. "Seriously!!!!!!!!"

Ahkita flicked his finger on his face with anger. "Listen,Zeriko, father died to protect you, let alone your parents died to protect you. Now hear me, for I shall not repeat this again. I will now become your guardian. However, I will not die to protect your precious ass like last time." Ahkita said with a hiss. Zeriko just rolled his eyes at the compliment. "You ran like a little pussy at the sight of a 6 foot tall shifter. You actually left me stranded. Why would I ask for your protection?" Zeriko stated, remembering the day. Ahkita said nothing and tried figuring out the passcode.

"Hey you remember the passcode?" Zeriko slammed the door behind him and ran towards his own room and looked through his closet. He had to move out of here before more stupid people tried to bump into him. Once he changed his clothing he stepped out of the house. He ran over to the forest, where he knows he will be having some peace at least.

(Okay so I guess Ahkita will be added in the roleplay lol. Although he wont be much used x3)

Several hours after waking, Jack tested his body gingerly again, checking what was working and what wasn't. He'd spent the time in a kind of trance, halfway between sleeping and not sleeping, reliving the battle over and over again, inventing new ways for his family to be killed, tortured, maimed... For years, Jack had been torn between loathing and loving his family, but now he knew that the bond of blood was too strong not to worry about them, no matter what they said, did and believed.

To the boy's relief, there didn't seem to be much permanent damage. The silver wounds would leave nasty scars, and they still made him wince everytime, but they were healing well. The rest of his body was in excellent condition, thanks to roughly half a day's rest. Slowly and carefully, the shifter sat up, his blue gaze sweeping across the cabin that he'd ended up in. It was small and, well, shitty, basically. Mysterious stains covered most of the floor and crept up the walls; there was one window, with a layer of worryingly thin glass in the pane; the door was draughty and creaked with the slight breeze that blew outside. There was also boxes of unidentified crap littering the floor. Jack didn't know where he was, but he knew that he wouldn't be leaving for another few hours. It was damp and cold and smelt like something had died, but the cabin was keeping him safe. He would wait until he was fully recovered before leaving, and right now he had to focus on standing up. When that obstacle was crossed, he would figure out what to do with himself for the few more hours that he would spend there.

As a small breeze ruffled his hair, he turned to look over his shoulder silghtly, feeling as if something was staring at him. Eyes narrowed and ears alert, he concentrated deeply. Commanding the forest to obey his direct order. 'Nothing.' He gave out a heavy sigh and continued on walking. He was careful to not loose his footing from the overgrown roots which could no longer stay underground. He stopped once he reached an open area and looked at his right, where a great tall tree stood about 20 feet tall.

When he approached the tree, he traced over the deep long scars that were done by such great force that could have ended up breaking a human's spine and rib cage with claws that are sharper than a recently made sword that was done one second ago, that are ready to slice a human being into pieces with one hit. He remembered that this was the area where Zafar and Zeriko appeared out of thin air in the human world and where a group of the king's men and his brother, Leopold, followed them. Since Zafar lacked fighting skills, he organized a plan where a tiger shifter, Sægar, would defend the two. Sægar was an extrimely great and deadly fighter. When Sægar and Leopold impacted, a strong aura was released. Both crystalizing and black magic were rare and dangerous when used against eachother. Sæger, who carried black magic was able to use his venom and place it into Leopold's system with his venomus fangs. However, not every victory is won with rare and venomous magic. Leopold was able to crystalize Sægar's heart, mind and body. Both have fallen, however with Zafar's spiritual powers, he was able to bring back Sægar alive and melt away the crystal with holy fire due to his spiritual powers and beliefs. But this shorten Sægars life.

Zeriko pushed himself away, falling on his rear. His heart beating rapidly at the memory. He got uo, brushing of the dirt from his pants and climbed the tree to a thick branch which wasn't so high. Only about 3 feet from the ground. He learned how to climb trees from a leopard shifter. He admired her greatly when he spent his first summer in the human world. As he rested his back against the bark, he gave a soft sigh with happiness, forgetting about the past memory. "Quiet at last." He mumbled as he began to shut his eyes. Forgetting about the strange mysterious prescene that lurks within the groups of trees in the distance

OOC: Sorry for such a super late reply Dx

//It's fine c: Just as a warning, my replies might be late or infrequent pretty soon because I've just started back at school and the work's already piling up *sobs violently*

It wasn't until roughly twenty four hours after the attack that Jack was back on his feet again. The air was cooling rapidly and the sun was beginning to set by the time that he was comfortably on his feet. The boy stretched his sore muscles, wincing as his scars stretched tightly. He had no real way of looking at them, with there being no mirror in the cabin, but he guessed that they were nasty. Otherwise, he was completely healed, physically.

When he was confident that he wasn't going to fall over, Jack's blue gaze swept the cabin. The piles of stuff had been of no interest to him before, but now the boy was intrigued. The cabin was clearly abandoned - did they belong to a past owner? Besides, his stomach was cramping painful as he hadn't eaten in well over a day. Maybe there'd be a lone can of food waiting for him in there.

The boy strode carefully across the cabin, his gaze sweeping the ground. Now that he got closer, he realised that the stains on the floor were red. Beginning to feel uneasy, he looked back at the other things. As his eyes adjusted to the gloom in the back of the cabin, he began to make out random assorted pieces of metal, almost like armour, along with discarded weapons, which were also stained red.

Every pore in the young male's screamed at him to leave, but a kind of horror fascination spurred him on. He gingerly stepped over a small sword, his gaze catching a smear of blood that seemed to lead away from the area. Not really knowing why, Jack followed the smear, watching as it grew as it went. Something truly terrible had happened in this cabin - the structure that had healed him over the past day suddenly seemed to be a place of death rather than a place of life. The trail led Jack to a door at the back of the cabin, and as the blood patches grew ever larger, a stale scent entered his senses. Ignoring it, and his increasing sense of apprehension, Jack pushed open the door, and immediately wished that he hadn't. Outside the door was a skeleton.

Jack let out a horrified scream, stumbling backwards. The blood, the armour, the body... there had been a fight here, and someone had lost their life.

Terrified and disgusted, Jack turned and fled. Ignoring the pain in his muscles and scars, and the bite of the cool evening air through his ripped clothes, the shifter ran, the image of the skeleton imprinted in his mind's eye.
