Hello, Jess here. I decided to start a Lion roleplaying forum for y'all, since we're in Lioden. :3 I made the lore and settings a tad like Warrior Cats so you guys wouldn't be entirely lost here. You will be able to jump in to Roleplay as soon as your character sheets are approved.

You can choose from four prides, like you would choose from four clans in Warrior cats. You will also be allowed to choose from all animals in the savannah, not only lions. But we have a limit for characters. It goes like this: 6 Lion character limit, 2 non-lion character limit.

Since we don't have name colors like we do in Chatzy, you have to use a header for your In-character posts. Said header will follow this format:

Name || Pride/ Loner || Species || Mentions and/or Interactions

This header will be the counterpart of /me here. It speaks for itself, but I will explain it nonetheless. On the first part you have to write your character's name. Second spot, your character's pride or if they are a loner. Third, if they are a lion or something else.The fourth, if your character mentions and or interacts with someone else's.

The forum may be a bit crowded, so the last part of the format will make it easier for people to see if their lions are being interacted with or not without them having to read through the whole post

Now, without further ado...

The Four Prides: {Kings chosen will have the chance to submit a proper description of their pride's territory. IF THEY ARE CHOSEN.}

Deep inside the African jungle is where the Jasiri reign. The heart of their pride-- their camp, lays hidden behind dense underbrush and vast amount of trees. Dens for each and every rank are available surrounding the clearing, including a cave that serves as home to the King, the Queen, and the queen's cubs; the heirs and princesses. A rock in the middle of the main prideland is where the king calls for meetings, or things alike.

The Jasiri have rather harsh ways of controlling the pride's population is through a ritual or sorts- An initiation. Young adolescents have to fight a male pride member- excluding the king- of their choice. If they beat the male, they will be considered worthy of the life of an brave Jasiri lion. If not, however... They are chased from the pride, never to be allowed inside again.

~Ukimya Pride: Their territory is located in a swampy area inside the jungle.

~Hekima Pride: An extense grassland territory.

~Heshima Pride: Live surrounded by wet marshlands.

In the end, all the territories' borders collide in a massive waterhole that marks the exact center of the territorial lands. All lions can go there and speak to each other without the hostility of borders. However, not all the pridelanders like eachother. And tension sparks up frequently. But, physical fighting is not allowed. Shamans have deemed the place sacred, as there had been past events in which Maisha lions have supposedly manifested in the body of water.

Prides of the Afterlife:

~Maisha: The heavenly pride in which lion souls with that had good intentions during their lifetime end up in. A blue sky and the many clouds are their territory. Hidden entirely from the view of the prides, they peek down to their younger brethren.

They have feathery wings, with haloes shining over their heads. They are the good ancestors of all the prides, and look over the four prides with tender care. Often, Shamans contact them through rituals or the drinking of water mixed with special herbs. Shamans seek the knowledge of the benevolent spirits of the Maisha.

~Kifo: The hellish pride in which lions with evil intentions from the prides end up in. Around them, deadlands, termite moounds and fire unfold around them. The neverending feeling of hunger fills their stomachs, and horrifying creatures fill their territory.

Kifo lions tipically have bony wings, or horns, or things alike. Some even expel red essence from their bodies. They have an underground view from the pride's territories, and look up to them fiendishly as they await a moment of falter in the pride's faith, plaguing the prides with false omens and tricks.

Lone Lions:

These lions are lions who were kicked from their prides, or left. Perhaps they have never even known what life inside a pride was. They live by themselves, or with small amounts of company. But never in groups big enough to be considered pridelanders.

Other Species:

Basically everything else residing in the savanna. Humans are not counted in this! Only Poacher or Villager side characters for plot reasons, but no mayor human characters, please.
