His dreams were becoming nightmares, All that felt real. He was panting as he ran to come to the side of his clanmate, but it was to late, he noticed it was Mistpool that had died in front of him. When he turned around, Mistpool's attacker jumped at him, aiming directly for his throat. His eyes abruptly opened, he had been having the same nightmare for the last 2 moons. It was as if StarClan itself was sending him a message to move on. I can't move on... She was everything to me.. he thought. He gave a heavy sigh, the few feathers in his den twisted on the ground by the irrupting wind he had made. He got out of his nest, giving himself a quick few licks to take off the debris in his pelt.

He heard the noise of cats chatting amongst themselves as dawn appeared. He knew it was dawn since the bright light of the sun had dawn on his den, creating some light at the enterance as it spreaded across the inside of the dim den. He walked over to the enterance of his den to see everyone doing their own thing. He averted his eyes to the small crowd that surrounded his deputy, Lavendereyes. She must be organizing patrols he thought solemnly. He decided to lay himself oh the outside of his den, where there was a sun spot. He stretched himself out a bit before he layed on the warm rock." Today seems like a slow day.." he said to himself as his mellowed voice echoed in his ears as he said it.

His ear twitched as he opened his eyes slowly to a voice calling his name. It was Lavendereyes, and she asked him if he wanted to lead the second patrol. He got up to his paws, stretching them a bit as he gave a mighty leap off the sun spot above his den and on to the ground. His soft eyes layed on her as he padded over to her. " I'd gladly lead the second patrol. Do you know who is up and about?" he asked in a meek voice. He didn't mind taking anyone with him, but if someone was up already he'd rather take them then awaken a sleeping clanmate. Imagine how cranky they would be.. Like an elder that didn't sleep right the night before! he thought, purring at the thought. He averted his gaze from the deputy to the medicine cat, watching as they tried to take cobweb off themself. He wanted to ask if he needed help, but he stayed quiet. Sure he was never friendly, but he was a med cat, which reminded him of Mistpool. His old crush, oh how I miss her dearly... he thought bitterly.
