Personality: Juniper is a bubbly, bright and level headed young fox, although she is sometimes cautious of newcomers Juniper is very social and is always up for a nice chat. She has a good sense of humor and is very passionate about what she believes in. She is lean, nimble and fast although when it comes to punishing others her bark is often worse than her bite. (WIP)

i can do anywhere from 3(if I have serious writers block) to idk, maybe 10 sentences tops. Depends on how literate I'm feeling, but I can always do at least 3-4 sentences per post

The bright autumn leafs made a satisfying crunching noise as Juniper thundered over them, she had chased a red squirrel as far as the river, then given up. She dipped the end of her maw into the clear icy water to drink. Jumping back in surprise as a minnow flashed past. After letting out a snort of annoyance Juniper backed away from the river, the water was too cold for her liking anyway. Ignoring painful growls of hunger from her stomach she hopped over a fallen tree, nestling herself among the damp wood. A cold, damp atmosphere had settled over the forest, and with it a serious lack of prey. The shriek of a migrating goose made her look to the sky, the fog had worn off revealing an icy blue horizon with thin whispy clouds. With a small sigh, Juniper curled her fluffy tail around her body, resting her maw on the ground.

Casey sat on his stone that overlooked a small clearing he called his own. He had been looking to start a family for a while but the forest seemed empty of single females. He leaped into a pile of leaves that crunched when he landed and he gave a hearty laugh which ended in a sneeze as a leaf particle floated up his nose. He shook his head before clambering out, shaking his brush to get the leaves out. His eyes glittered beneath his black mask as he settled down once more to begin grooming his brush. The early morning fog had lifted, revealing the beautiful sky. A chill raced down his spine as a breeze glided past and he shifted to a warmer position. The cold excited him however, and he let loose a cry of joy and excitement. It spilled out from his gaping jaws unchecked and his entire body stood rigid, from his black paws to his black tipped ears swiveling furiously. He wondered today if someone would reply other then to tell him to shut up.

Juniper scrambled to her feet as a shrill cry of joy broke the stillness of the morning air. Her eyes were wide and alert as they scanned the nearby territory. She ducked furiously upon seeing a pair of black ears swiveling in her direction. The leaves at her paws crackled as she so. Juniper lifted her nose to the sky, scenting the air in hopes of discovering what animal this was. Her heart practically melted with relief when she recognized it was another fox. Slowly she rose to her full height, still somewhat covered by the bushes. After looking foolish for a few moments she managed to mumble "oh..Er...Hi"

The flame colored brute's ears strained forwards at the crunching of leaves. A new friend? His thick brush began to be beat the air furiously as the fox made an appearance. "I'm Casey!" He replied as she managed to stammer a greeting. From what he could smell he didn't find any traces of fox on her and committed her scent to memory. "Are you alone?" He questioned. If she was he would invite her to stay for a while, maybe even hunt the prey that was becoming scarcer and scarcer every day.

Juniper smirked at his sudden enthusiasm, her fear instantly evaporating "I'm Juniper" she said, padding forward. She glanced behind her quickly, not really for any reason "and, yes, I'm alone." She giggled sitting down and giving Casey a curious sniff, Juniper wondered why she hadn't seen him around before? She wasn't new to this part of the forest, so perhaps he was? She wrapped her tail around her ink black feet, her ears swiveling curiously as she waited for a reply, perhaps a reason for asking all these questions? o

Casey circled the female, overjoyed as she seemed to relax. "I'm Casey! Oh wait..." He said as confusion crossed his face, but only for a split second before it seemed to split open with happiness again. "You already know that! Do you have anywhere to spend the night? You're welcome to stay with me! I love company! And I have food!" The jubilant fox did indeed have food, a fat bank vole he had managed to catch before it went into hibernation. He hadn't touched it yet as it was freshly caught. He turned around and trotted forwards a few paces, sniffing, before he bounded over a few feet and began to burrow in the brightly colored leaves. His thick brush stuck straight out, a comical sight. It wasn't long before a victorious "Aha!" came muffled out of the hole. He pulled his prize out and trotted over toJuniper before dropping it at her feet. He sat down, expectant. His glittering eyes missing nothing that happened in the drowsy forest and his ears were attuned to every sound. Especially the voice of Juniper.

Juniper laughed, his perky atmosphere seemed to take the murkiness out of the day. She blushed a little at his question "actually, no I don't" she said happily, grateful that he wanted to help. She watched as he dug up the prey, laughing as he showered her with snow. Juniper sat down, shaking it out of her pelt and watching the food with hungry eyes. she sniffed it cautiously at first, then took a bite, tail curled around her paws. She swallowed, the meat warm and flavourful "thank you!" She exclaimed, a warm smile meeting her lips. She took another bite before pushing the vole towards him a little, not wanting him to starve for her sake. "Are you new around here?" She asked, she hadn't seen him around before, then again this was quite a way from where she usually stayed.

Casey panted a smile when she laughed, it was such a sweet sound and he liked it immediately. His eyes glittered with a joy too great for facial expressions and he said happily, "You're welcome to stay!" He sat down and curled his thick brush around his black paws. "You're welcome! Happy to help!" He accepted the carcass back and removed the head. He carefully removed flesh from bone until he had a small circle of fur. He stuffed it with leaves and gathered it all together. Then he brought it to a patch of frozen mud which he packed on the seam. Carefully he rolled it back and sat down behind it. "No, well, yes, well sort of." He replied. "I was born here but left for a few years and now I'm back. I was lonely where I was before." He nudged the small ball over to her. "Here, try this. It's fun!"

She smiled again, her ears twitching slightly with the cold, it was nice to finally find someone so welcoming. She listened to his story, her eyes subconsciously scanning the horizon. When he had finished putting the fur away she watched the small pile of leaves curiously, she had never seen anyone do that before. She didn't want to be rude, so she didn't say anything about it. Juniper sat diagonally from the brute, watching inquisitively as he passed her a ball of some sort. She pounced on it quickly, sending it flying "oops" she laughed, chasing after it and passing it back to Casey. She bounced happily on the snow in front of him, waiting for him to pass it back so that they could play more with the ball.
