The silver tabby looked about her clan as she fed on a fish, her claws sinking into it as she took another bite. It was leaf-bare, so prey was scarce, though some fish still swam threw their streams. Around this time they usually fed on lizards and mice, very rarely a squirrel or two. After finishing her meal, she locked her lips and made her way to her den, her body shivering from the cold, seeing as her fur was one of the shortest, her body wasn't exactly made for the cold. She tretched out her body and laid on her nest, preparing herself for a small nap.

Splashsong

Splashsong lay her head on her paws, flicking the tip of her long-furred tail. Her ears quivered as a breeze swept through the Nursery to Rainclan. Prey was growing scarce, and Splashsong wished she could hunt; but no matter the cost, the bundles she held for the clan would not be ignored or neglected. She was pregnant with who knows how many kits, and her stomach grew more plump by the hours. It wasn't only scary - It was dangerous for her kits to be so close to coming into their new world during Leaf-Bare. Who knew what awaited them? Greencough, Kitten-Cough, lack of strength from being born in cold times, freezing to death... That last one won't happen, Splashsong thought. I will lay on top of them in the coldest blizzard the Clans have ever seen to keep them from that!

Daisysong erupted from her den, the chilly air sending a shiver down her spine. Looking around, she noticed nobody was in the clearing, but the faint smell of the silver tabby leader, Silverstar, clung to the air. Daisysong could recognize her scent from anywhere. The medicine cat stretched, her tongue swiping over her paws and then her matted pelt before she headed towards the nursery. It was time to check up on the expecting queens. Poking her head inside, Daisysong saw that most of the queens were asleep but one, a smile spreading across her face as she noticed it was Splashsong "Why good morning, how are you feeling?" She questioned as she sat down beside her and looked at her, examing her condition.

Out from the apprentice's den, Moonpaw bursted out into the camp clearing, the cold leaf-bare air hitting her like a brick. She shivered and shoke her pelt; she had the unfortunate luck of having her mothers short pelt, though that didn't seem to effect her much. It seemed that she was unaffected by the cold, though her shivering body would say otherwise. "Awww, is no one else awake?" She frowned, sitting down where she was.

Mosskit woke to the sound of a familiar voice in the den, springing from her own separate next and getting ready to race over, but stopped by the sudden encounter of being lightheaded, waiting a few moments to regain her balance. Try not to be too excited She quietly thought, padding more carefully over to Daisysong and Splashsong. "Hi Daisysong, Splashsong!" She mewed, knowing clearly she was interrupting a newly started conversation. She looked back and forth between the two clanmates, a curious gaze following her eyes as she glanced at both of them one at a time. She couldn't wait for Splashsong's new kits to arrive, although the only problem was that she was soon to leave the den, and she wouldn't be able to play with the younger youths as much, but it didn't stop her from feeling overwhelmed by the happiness that followed her wherever she went.

Splashsong

"Morning, Daisysong." She smiled genuinely at the Medicine Cat of Rainclan, shuffling her speckled blue form to the side, expanding her nest for Daisysong to relax with. "It's all well. It won't be long, I can feel them. Soon," She tilted her head down, her icy-blue eyes staring warmly at her round stomach. Soon. She flicked her tail among the moss for a second before finding it a new place to rest, curling it around the containment that held her kits. "I have to say, I'm pretty nervous.." She commented to the Medicine Cat, although her judgement didn't change. She was aware Daisysong was fully capable of keeping Splashsong and her kits' health in check.
"Mosskit!" She chuckled at the little kit, even though she grew larger every day. Splashsong's ears folded as she intently watched the kit's every movement (although not creepily), with her motherly instincts kicking in. "Morning! How are you, little one?" She purred, folding her paws under her chest.

Leaping Blossom Came back from a hunting patrol carrying 2 fish She walked over to the fresh kill pile and dropped them then walked over to the warriors den and sat down and Licked her paws trying to get the Fish scales and Grease off her paws.

Icefeather lets out a yawn as she wakes up, her eyes scanning the nursery, noting that Daisysong , Mosskit and Splashsong are awake, unlike her kits who are curled up at her side. She decides to keep silent, waiting for someone to notice her.

Nutpaw awake with a small start, his ears flicked to a perk when Moonpaw sprang to life. Standing rather quickly he prowled over to her, raising a paw he tapped quickly between her shoulder blades releasing a guttural snarl, before breaking off into a snicker. "I'm awake too, now." he said with a sleazy grin. Sitting down beside her and wrapped his tail over his paws.

Moonpaw looked to her side, "Hiyah Nutpaw! Wanna play?" She bounced to her paws, her tail thrashing back and forth with excitement. She wasn't expecting anyone to be awake, but now that someone is, she just wanted to play and probably chase a frog or two.

Daisysong looked at the apprentice and smiled, though young kits had a tendency of budging into conversations, it didn't bother the old medicine cat. "Don't be nervous, it can affect your health." The she-cat said with her rough, cracked voice as she examined Splashsong, and seeing that she was in perfect shape, Daisysong let out a purr "You look perfectly fine, no signs of green-cough or white-cough anywhere, I'm sure the kits will come out healthy and strong." Saying the words happily, She turned her gaze towards the other side of the den where Icefeather sat, her presence was well known in the Nursery. "Good morning Icefeather, how are your kits?" She stood up, her body shaky, but well balanced as she came over to her and looked at the sleeping kits, her eyes examine both Icefeather's and the kits conditions.

Icefeather twitches her tail, turning her attention towards her kits "They are fine, although Leopardkit made it his hobby to shove himself into the snow." she picks up the young kit and places him between her paws, bathing him to wake him up, softly purring as he squirms. Her tail wraps around Sandkit, who is starting to wake up. Then she glances up to Daisysong, her ears twitching :Is there anything else you want to know?"

Splashsong

(PM ME TO HAVE A SPOT FOR HER KITS! I NEED PEEPS!)

"Thanks, Daisysong." She purred to the Medicine Cat, curling her paws and head around her plump stomach. Memories flooded her thoughts, even some worry, ideas, everything. She remembered their father; and she didn't want her kits to be teased about it or grow up miserable. It was a kittypet named Riles - Oh, how handsome he was. Splashsong gave off a sigh aloud has she remembered all the romantic times, and if she would ever witness it again from inside Rainclan instead out outside the Code. He was a gorgeous Siamese, cream fur with a Chocolate/Onyx points. So elegant. The speckled queen thought. She wondered if any of her kits would look like him; how much she would love it.
But... If her kits looked like him, would anyone know she had been with Riles? The only way they would, is that they would've broken the code too by going out of Rainclan territory. Still. Would she be taken away from them? Would they discover it and hate her? Would she be banished? Would they be banished for half-blood? Lets get my mind off this... She thought sadly.

Mosskit looked up towards Daisysong, a curious look following in her eyes. "Whitecough, greencough?" She asked, tiliting her head to an angle, fixing her posture so she looked up and ready to listen. "What's that?" Is it a bad cough? Or is it something else? Is there a cure? When did it come around? Too many thoughts came in her head to count, so many she began to lose herself and began fading into her own mind.
