Roseita walked out the auto shop looking at the receipt. "I think that is everything, great now I can get back to working that the truck." She said with an excited smile. She put the receipt in her pocket and put on her headphones, she then grabbed her phone and started to play some music. She began to hum the tune looking up at the sky as she slowly made her way home, lost in thought she really wasn't paying attention to where she was walking. She felt herself hit something hard. "Owe what the fu.." She said with a low growl of embarrassment.

Nick yawns and shoves his hands into his pants pockets as he walks down the street, having only woken up 30 minutes prior to going outside. Pulling his phone out he scrolls through the songs on his playlist, eventually just hitting the shuffle option and listening to one of the random songs before letting his phone slip into his back pocket. He had moved into his house on the edge of the neighborhood only a few days ago and hasn't been outside much, since it had finally stopped raining he took the opportunity to walk around and get familiar to his surroundings.

When he turns his head in the direction he's walking, finished with looking around for now, Nick feels something smack against his chest and he has to put a hand on the brick wall next to him to stop from falling. Peering down Nick sees a white wolf a few inches shorter than him and tilts his head, not having seen another white wolf before.

Moving part of his headphones Nick frees one of his ears before nodding, his ear twitching a little "It's all good, and uh, yeah. Got here a few days ago." He says simply, noticing her accent immediately and wondering where she's originally from but doesn't say anything. His tail starts twitching anxiously so he causally places one of his hands on it, pinning the tip to his leg.

Nick glances at her hand for a moment before looking back up at her face. Extending his arm he shakes her hand with a tight but wary grip, unsure about this new, to him at least, interaction. "I'm Nick. So..how many others do live around here?" He asks, slightly curious since he hasn't seen anyone else but Roseita on the street so far. The sun was still high in the sky but the small place seemed like a ghost town.

Nick's eyes wander over to her flickering ear, getting distracted for a few seconds before nodding; completely understanding where she's coming from about disliking large crowds. "I like rural areas more, that's kind of why I picked a place way out here..." He fidgets with the tip of his tail, twirling it around his index and ring fingers before tugging them free; doing this multiple times, unable to just stand or sit still for too long.

Roseita noticed him fumbling around with his tail. She giggled as she knew that he was getting anxious just standing around. "See I got me a durable bunny on my hands." She said with a big smile. "Don't worry I'm the same way, it's why im always working on cars." She said beginning to walk pass him. "Even on my days off which is today, if you are any good with cars you can join me." She said as she continued to walk away putting her headphones back on and continued to play the song she was on.

He turns his head to look after her then glances around, suddenly feeling very open by himself on the sidewalk. Nick hasn't seen another anthro, aside from the rescue and rehabilitation teams, for quite some time and wasn't ready to back to his coffin of a house just yet. Turning around on his heels Nick follows Roseita, readjusting his headphones when they slip down a little and walks a few steps behind the other white wolf. He knew a little about fixing up cars, whatever he could remember from the time his uncle had taught him somethings when he was still a kid, and hoped it would be enough for the mechanic.

As they made their ways to the car shop Roseita pointed out what houses to avoid and met a few neighbors. After a 30 minute walk they finally made it to the shop. Inside was a rusted broken down truck. "Meet Rusty, going to fix him up so I can finally have a car." She said patting the hoid of the truck.

Nick stays quiet for most of the time it takes to walk there, waving a greeting at the new neighbors he does meet. Once they arrive he glances around the inside of the shop before his gaze finally rests on the rusted and broken down truck. It didn't look half bad on the outside but it would definitely take some more time to get all that rust off and have a good paint job done, depending on what she wants. "Wouldn't just a bike or motorcycle be enough?"

She grabbed the jack that was next to him. "You know I haven't seen that many white wolves." She said walking back to the truck. "My mother was the first, that makes you tge second white wolf I've seen." She said her voice saddening as she talked about her mother.

Nick resists the urge to move when she touches him and stands still, but his tail stills slowly moves from side to side. Shrugging he says "Maybe not but they're once hell of a ride to drive." Looking back over at the truck before his gaze shifts to Roseita when she speaks about his pelt color. "I wouldn't think white wolves are uncommon. You could probably see them more often if you were to love in a city or something."
