This is no ordinary roleplay, to participate you must first purchase an Askautanian creature. These can only be brought from here ~
Flat Sales and Items shop
Auction's
So please do not buy them from anywhere else as it won't be accepted!

NPC's
These are purely created so the world doesn't seem empty, they cannot be killed, befriended or interacted with directly as you cannot roleplay as them. Only I and people I have allowed may use these characters as a one off thing, to either kickstart the rp or mould an event. You can however attempt to hunt them, but never actually come into contact.
e.g I stalked the small creature it's bright coat signalling me to chase it and so I did. I almost got close enough to leap when it ran into a burrow.
The Doomed
These characters will die! These characters only have a lifespan of 3 rp posts, after that they can die (If there's a hunt/chase then they can last longer, but they must allow the chaser to catch/eliminate them), or 1 day if the person refuses to post. They are often very cheap to buy, the don't have much art just pixel art.
The main purpose of these characters are for food! Even immortals need to eat to thrive, other mortals need to eat to survive. You may even buy them so your own character can eat. The larger the prey, the better the hunger replenishment.
The Dauntless
They're more expensive than the doomed, but not as expensive as immortals. These characters CAN die! But they're not a source of food specifically. These characters aren't for the light-hearted so please do not buy them if you will turn sour due to them dying! If their hunger/thirst reaches 0%, they get seriously injured/infected or something similar they will die. You must be very conscious when playing these characters, pick your allies wisely, train and hunt well, but do not exhaust yourself or you'll face death. These characters are often carnivores/omnivores and are mid-way to high up on the food-chain, but not limited to.
The Death Dancers
These characters CAN die! They're often more expensive than The Dauntless and are very similar! But they have 3 chances at life, after a third death they are however eliminated!
Immortals
Okay the name's a lie, they can die XD BUT, only if you choose so. Loosing hunger, thirst etc does not kill them! However, this doesn't mean they can go around killing everything and be all high and mighty. They are just as strong as the average guy/gal, but instead of death they must flee or pass out. These are generally the most expensive characters to buy! They do however come with better art or a ref sheet too
Hunger, thirst, exhaustion etc do effect their performance though. See them as a normal being, the only difference is they do not die, "immortality" has nothing to do with how they preform!
marker_by_xxxdruidxxx-daxnct2.pngCharacter Death
If your character does die, you can still use the art as long as you credit the artist, but you must buy a new character to join into the rp again. It is an ever changing environment, world, friendships can grow and fall at the drop of a coin, play smart or face death. You can buy "Immortal" characters too however.
marker_by_xxxdruidxxx-daxnct2.pngHow will this actually run?
Hunger/Food Your character will loose a certain amount of hunger each role-play turn. To replenish it must either hunt or forage. But there is a limited supply of food, so be fast and vigilant.
Each kind of food has a value, depending on its value it replenishes a certain amount of hunger. Your characters food starts at 100/100. If you have young cubs/pups etc you must feed them until they're a week old, otherwise they will perish. At 1 week old (Not a real week) the character must be brought
to use.
Thirst/Replenishment
Your character must also drink in order to survive, there will be various points to drink from, but some will be dangerous to drink from and your character has a risk of becoming ill. Your characters thirst starts at 100/100.
Illness
Your character can get ill, may it be something small, or something life threatening. This is announced by the forum mods/admins, do not believe it if another rplayer has told you. The mods/admins won't be biased about it, it will be put through a random generator. Though having very low hunger/thirst or getting into a really intense fight increase your chances.
Babies!
You can't suddenly poof have babies! There must be a female and male character and they must have bred (fade to black!) Most animals will have a certain time of year they can have young, so follow these rules! Some have eggs, these will need to be kept protected until they hatch. They can be stolen and eaten. The same applies to young animals. But this must be overseen by a mod. They will tell the outcome depending on the roleplay and dice rolls.
Note
You can't straight up say you killed every single cub they had. You can say you attempt to and how, but then a mod will guide what actually happens this is to prevent certain players being targeted all the time, same applies to fights/hunts.
Don't get sour or upset if your character dies! That is the way of the game. If you want them to live forever then they must be immortal.

When buying a new character species I will pm you about how they communicate/ react so you know how to rp as that species!
