The majestic black and white warrior she-cat was up a few hours prior, and laying in the water of the river, on a shallower portion, she was grooming herself, pawing at the water from time to time after some frog, or maybe a pebble moved by the waves. Catching sight of her leader she flicked her ears and observed the dappled tom with a soft grin, too shy to greet him.

The she-cat padded out of the water and pulled herself up to the land, then after shaking the water out of her pelt approached her deputy. "Goodmorning..." she mewed sweetly, then brushing herself against the deputy quickly she purred. "Can I be on the next patrol? I need to stretch my claws out of this camp..."
In fact what Swansong really wanted was to be alone for a bit. Taking advantage of the fact that there were few warriors, now that Deathclan had stroke the Clans mercilessly not long ago. She thought that she'd be sent in the patrol alone, as most of the warriors had to stay near the camp. Of course, the overuse of feminine charm was probably not necessary, it was just her way of being.

Redpool stares into the river, his ears twitching every few seconds. He slowly crawls towards the water, being as silent as he could. He sees the shadow of a fish underneath the waves and quickly smacks the creature with a paw, digging his claws into it. Gripping the fish, he drags it out and buries his fangs into it as it writhes. His eyes glance back at the river for a second, before he starts his walk back to camp, carrying his prey proudly in his jaws.

Nightstar spots Spiderleaf exiting the medicine cat den. "Spiderleaf! How are you and Emberstorm going with out herb supplies? I heard from her earlier that there was lots of catmint growing now"

Disappointment swelled in the she-cat's heart when she heard she won't be going alone. Indeed, Riverclan recovered well after they were struck, it was no surprise that patrols would contain many warriors. However, upon hearing Nightstar speaking to the medicine cat about catmint, an idea sparked into her mind. "No need to worry about it, I'll go replenish the stock of catmint!" Swansong eagerly offered, already making her way out of the camp in a rushed trot.

The grey she-cat nods and walks over to the fresh-kill pile. She picks up a thrush and walks back to the warrior's den, noticing her ginger furred brother walk back into camp. The tom sets down the fish he caught in the fresh-kill pile, and decides to join his litter mate. "Where have you been all day?" She asks him worriedly. The tom rolls his eyes and sits, licking his paw. "I was hunting, you know I'm not the best fisher." He huffs, beginning to groom himself more thoroughly. Fogstream lays down and huffs, looking at her brother with annoyed eyes. "You caught one fish." She meows, her tail swaying impatiently. "Whatever, I'll do better next time." The ginger tom answers, getting up again and walking out of the den. Fogstream sighs and lays her head between her paws.
