If, like me, you've been robbed by the page refreshing and then auto-buying, selling, or simply doing something you didn't want to buy, sell, or happen, Then this is the thread for you and we need to bring it to attention.

I don't understand why a page refreshing would auto-buy anything at all, you'd have to re-input the information and manually click the button right? Apparently this isn't the case in this games programming.

Examples of what I've experienced:
-I bought 4x Raffle tickets for 500sb a pop. The page refreshed (of it's own volition) and auto-bought ANOTHER 4x Raffle tickets! Registered under a separate but same transaction in my SB logs. So instead of being down 2k SB, I was down a whopping 4k.
- In last months event, digging in the boneyard to find items was an option and used Energy. I dug until I found what I was looking for (mod primal) and then the page refreshed and suddenly I noticed more of my energy was gone and I had a completely different arrangement of items! Luckily (if you can call it that) I managed to find it again after using several energy bars before the event was over.
And several others.

What are your experiences? Should this action be fixed or do you think it is what it is and we just need to deal with it?

Personally, I don't understand why refreshing a page would do So much that initially requires manual input from the get-go but I digress.

No harsh intentions to the coders or developers or anything like that, this is just a super frustrating and incredibly inconvenient feature that I personally believe should get more attention rather than having it go on ignored and taking things that shouldn't been taken from the players.

Please say why you support or do not support this and share any experiences you have had with this glitch! (I call it a glitch because this is the only game I've ever had this sort of scenario with when it comes to a simple refresh)

This suggestion has 13 supports and 2 NO supports.

Personally I like using this to my advantage when I'm buying alot of items at a time. .o. It's also saved me alot of times when I submitted a thread or saved something that didn't go through because I either got logged off, or some other situation that kicks me off of the page momentarily.

I don't actually know if it's even possible to change this kind of thing, since you're essentially saying 'send all this information again' when you refresh using F5. If you just go to the URL again, it won't resubmit the information.

Personally I haven't experienced anything refreshing of its own volition unless my internet crapped out. Which is not something the site can fix.

I'm pretty sure that refresh re-doing an action is not something they can fix either, as web browsers try to resubmit any button clicks when they refresh. At best they might be able to put in a 'do you want to resubmit this?' warning.

I understand your point of view @Shu! Saving information and having it readily loaded is one thing, but I feel like submitting the actual request itself should still be a manual action, As I stated this is the only game I've had this experience with. Whether or not something can be done or tweaked I still think bringing it to attention is a good idea, But that you for your Opposite perspective! It's welcomed! I don't want a bias post <3

It happens when I manually refresh aswell! But that is also a good suggestion @M'aiq!

I'm no coder, so maybe there's a reason behind this feature that I don't understand, or maybe there's no way of fixing it for a certain reason, but I do agree.

Although it can prove useful on some occasions, it's more of a hindrance than help. SB is often lost, error messages come up everywhere, items are used multiple times, and energy is sent to the void. This is especially noticed during exploring when your own connection is low. You click explore, it takes time to load, the page automatically refreshes itself, and suddenly you're down 6+ energy with nothing to show for it apart from the original "Click explore to begin exploring" message.

Again there could be a reason for this feature that I don't get, as someone who doesn't do any coding, but I'd much rather input information multiple times than refresh and have it do so automatically. Purely because there are less times that I need to do anything along those lines, and 95% of the times information gets resubmitted, it's unwanted.

So in short, I support!

Supporting this, as multiple times I've bought two to five times the amount of raffle tickets I was intending to and it left me in a ditch SB wise. Sometimes I've accidentally refreshed the page, other times it automatically refreshed when I was mobile and have been out of the tab for too long. Hopefully it's a treatable issue, I hate tiptoeing around raffles and things where this can happen.

@Adhara I don't believe the explore issue is related to this - I don't need to refresh for that to happen, it happens on its own when I click explore while the page hasn't finished loading.
