So if you don't nest a lioness i belive it sould make like a injuries thingy-ma-boby but still have them lose the cubs sometimes |

How would it increase? The cubs die from the lack of warmth and safety, meaning it wouldn't effect genetics. I understand scars, even permanent scars if attacked young and surviving. It just seems too unrealistic, so no support from me. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Why would nesting increase the likelihood of mutations? Nesting has to do with the lioness having a safe place to give birth. Being born in an unsafe place, just results in death, not random genetic changes. No support as it doesn't really seem to make any sense. Plus, litters with no nesting don't really seem to survive. I don't think I've heard of any litters surviving not being nested. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support. As Kitsune said, they'd die without the safety of a nest. If they start off with a low survival rate, then they'd die quicker if you didn't attach them to a broodmother quickly upon birth. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I dunno wat that means. Anyways, no support. I agree that it does nothing for mutations. Possibly injuries maybe but otherwise yea, no. Muties wouldn't be very plausible in this situation. Though Katavi I've had a few litters survive. Not very many at all mind you. It's basically 1/100 chances. But it happens sometimes 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not a mutation, but maybe an injury that would go in the mutation slot? Maybe they could be born crippled, or has a deformed leg due to it having broke at such a young age, and never fixed? 0 players like this post! Like? |

It wouldn't be a mutation- like not nesting a lioness would not affect a cubs genetics. However it could injure the cub for life. They wouldn't be mutations, but injuries. However if this were to work out then a whole new birth defect, "injuries", would have to be implemented and this could be too much work. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't know if it would though- because it would still be under a mutation then. "Mutation" would have to be changed to "Defects" or "Birthing Injury"- and this may be too much coding for such a small addition 0 players like this post! Like? |
