This thread is for everyone who has ever wanted to RP with their adoptables... I know I have!
Here is the link for the adoptable thread: DRAGONS!
You need one of these dragons to RP here, but don't worry, they're nice and cheap (for adoptables)!

~History~
All the important stuff!

~Rules~

- All Lioden rules apply
- No god-modding
- Don't kill other people's characters (unless you have their permission)
- Each dragon breed will have certain strengths and weaknesses. Please keep this in mind!
- I will control some evil characters. Go ahead and kill them, but keep in mind, they are trained, evil demon warriors. Your dragon can't take them down like it's nothing!
- I'll also control some side characters, because I'm not going to sell off my favourite pre-created dragons...

~Breed info~

Moon dragons: Moon dragons don't have great eyesight during the day; in fact, it's quite common for a moon dragon living on Earth to be completely blind during the day. However, moon dragons are quite skilled at using their other senses in battle, and can spit acid that will melt almost anything, making them a force to be reckoned with. However, their acid can easily be neutralized using desert dragon venom, though desert dragons and moon dragons have rarely interacted over the course of draconic history.

Desert dragons: The smallest of all the dragon breeds, desert dragons are often underestimated. Their wings are barely large enough for flight, leaving them unable to travel long distances in the air. However, they have the unique ability to use their long tails like whips in battle, or even to create sandstorms that allow them to glide on the winds. Desert dragons are venomous, using their fangs to subdue prey. Strangely, Desert dragon venom seems to neutralize moon dragon acid!

Fire dragons: The largest of the dragon breeds, fire dragons are expert warriors, though their strategy leaves something to be desired. With sharp claws, huge teeth, and fiery breath that cannot be extinguished by anything short of a water dragon's magic, few dare face these fearsome beasts. However, fire dragons are heavily dependent on the magic of their world, and struggle to survive far from active volcanoes.

Water dragons: With a unique set of abilities, water dragons are a mystery to most other dragons. Their tendency to stay in deep waters, where only they can survive, has gifted them with the development of retractable spines that allow them to impale any who dare attack them using just their tails. Additionally, water dragons are capable of producing electricity, similarly to an electric eel. Even a baby water dragon is powerful enough to stun a fire dragon. However, shocking a predator or enemy will leave water dragons exhausted and vulnerable, and they struggle to move outside of water, due to their flippers and lack of wings.

~Mutations~
Mutations present on adopted dragons will be present in the RP. Some will be beneficial, depending on the situation, while others can be dangerous.

Water dragons: Bioluminescence
While bioluminescent water dragons are absolutely adorable (look at those fancy frills!), their mutation prevents them from growing the retractable spikes that most other water dragons have, and severely weakens their electricity-producing abilities. However, these dragons can glow in the dark, helping them survive in the deep sea, where there is little sunlight. Bioluminescent dragons are also better adapted to land, making it easier for them to move around (though they're still dragging themselves around).

Blind
Moon dragons will rarely be affected by this mutation, aside from additionally heightened senses. However, this will prevent them from seeing, even at night, and in battles, they will often struggle to find their targets. In other breeds, dragons will often be disoriented as well.

The silver moon hung low in the sky, dark clouds blotting out the stars. Dragons milled around the island restlessly, the missing stars undoubtedly putting them on edge. A small group of dragons, perched atop a long-dormant volcano, stared out at them nervously. They were the royalty of the dragons, and their future heirs. They all dreaded what would happen once the last of the desert dragons were ferried in.

Each of the royal dragons took a deep breath, hoping there would be no uprising tonight. A small group of fire dragons glided down to land softly on the long grass, the last of the desert dragons descending from their backs. Green eyes darting around nervously, the queen of the desert dragons stepped forward to face the crown.

"As many of you have noticed, the sky has lost its stars," she began. "and the animals of our world are starting to behave... strangely. As your monarchs, we have summoned all of you here tonight to ensure that each of you is aware of the dangers we now face. A threat we believed to be long past has returned." The queen stepped back, sighing with relief that her part of the speech was over.

"I seriously doubt you guys remember everything you learned in history class. I know I don't." The moon dragon king chuckled, taking his place at the edge of the peak. "Whenever I'd ask why we had to learn history, my tutor would always say, 'in case history repeats itself.' I always thought that was a ridiculous reason. The past is over. Unfortunately, the past is not nearly as 'over' as we once believed."

A pair of water dragons dragged themselves forwards by their flippers, so slowly that the other leaders dragged them forward before the crowd from making up too many insane, mob-creating theories.

"We know what you may be thinking. This has nothing to do with the War," the first dragon's voice echoed across the island.

"This is about something far worse than fighting between reasonable dragons. This is about fighting between reasonable dragons and rabid ones," the second dragon continued, her green scales shimmering in the moonlight.

"This is not a war. This is not something that can be negotiated or prevented. The Shadows have returned." As soon as they heard the word 'Shadow,' the crowd began to murmur quietly, a few dragons looking startled, far more looking panicked, and a handful looking quite confused.

The two rulers backed away from the edge, replaced by the queen of the fire dragons.

"Okay, don't flip out and start a mob. It's counterproductive, and it's not going to stop the Shadows from murdering or possessing every last one of you," she sighed, glancing at the gathered dragons with disinterest. "We're all screwed, unless someone who isn't busy running a country can go find us the eyes of magic. Don't be lazy and try not to die. If you fail, the destruction of our world is your fault. In no case is it ours. I repeat, no matter what happens, we are not to blame, you are."

With that, the crimson dragoness leapt into the air, a few of the other monarchs face-palming.

"I'm sorry, it is our fault. Even if it's just a little. Queen Blaze is just an awful leader," the moon dragon king concluded, spreading his wings.
