Hello, I'm auctioning off this little fella here, the first completed creature of a closed species I'm developing. Tentative info species tentatively named Hokel Raptors- Modern day raptors with very strange adaptive abilities. They infiltrate local species populations- most typically that of birds, where they fit best- by adapting to mimic the looks and pheromones of the population in question using a very refined technique of biofeedback. Mother raptors will leave their eggs or young in the care of the a mother of the host species without their noticing, much like the Cuckoo bird, and by time the young grow to adolescence they are well fit to live in their host community. However, the young raptor will soon outgrow it's communities habits, and (once it masters control over it's phermones, creating the perfect chemical to handle it's host) take on murderous tendencies towards its peers. If the raptor is found out before this point it is very unlikely to survive. Once a raptor has left it's host(Most likely after decimating the entire community) it is considered an adult, as well as a powerful solitary apex predator. The raptor will find a mate and the cycle will repeat. Raptors will have tendencies towards the same species they were born into, however they must travel far to find a mate, and may wind up in an area where that is not possible. While second and on generation raptors will have more refined qualities of the host and will survive far easier in the community raptors who are born to a new species will have remnant qualities of their parents species, and likely be more fit to survive post-host. Qualities rarely last longer than three generations of a different host. Sometimes Hokel raptors, particularly males, will even mate with another species, particularly one that their pheromones will reach. These hybrids may not experience the same coming of age as pure hokels will, but they also may have less control over their biofeedback. ================================================================ Here is the Hokel Raptor in question! This bugger is a first generation chicken(Previous generation Bluejay) Note: the black outline on the feathers is a marking that covers the edges of the feathers, as seen in chickens like this.
