But what if we could reassign which mother a cub nurses off of?

Waiting 5 days or spending the GB to get newborns off their moms can be a hassle and not everyone has the patience for it. A lot of times when people claim and breed a bunch of NCLs that give birth to cubs they want to keep, the NCL mom takes up territory the member will need in the next 5 days.

Or whatever other reason you might need your lioness back, here's my suggestion:

Nursing/Foster changes. Basically, if you've got a lioness with less than 4 cubs, she has room to nurse another cub/more cubs.

If you have 2 NCLs, one with 3 cubs and one with 1 cub, this change would allow the NCL with 3 cubs take on the extra/4th cub so the biological mom is cub free.

It happens in the wild and in captivity all the time, new mothers who have milk to spare take on infants that need the care and nursing to survive.

It'd be a huge convenience if we were able to organize the nursing lionesses better, so we can narrow it down to just two or so nursing mothers with 4 cubs each instead of 8 nursing lionesses, with a single cub each, taking up territory space for 5 days straight.
