It was late Spring, and Aibek had just led his tribe to their new campsite. A few of their tents had been pitched, and everyone was getting settled; but it was soon enough they would need to stock up on more food. At least Calypso had returned from an exploration of the ground, checking that the same berry bushes and fruit trees bore fruit again this season and came back with a large woven basket full with apples and pears. At least they had that go to on. The bulky stallion huffed and trotted towards the basket, lifting it and then putting it down to check its weight which honestly easier to tell than counting eat one. Calypso ↠ Gatherer ↠ 20 ↠ Mare The white centaur watched Aibek weigh out her basket, rolling her eyes a little as she took a bite of an apple; she was only supposed to check their availability, she didn't have to bring anything back. The mare huffed as she finished her fruit and put down the core, lying down and beginning to run her fingers through her silky blonde hair. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sabra- Head Warrior- 20- Mare Bright, piercing blue eyes searched the horizon, seeking out any danger that might be lurking in the distance. Every sense was on high alert, and a dark auburn tail swayed back and forth, the only thing that gave away her nerves. She was always like this during migration, so many things could go wrong at a moment's notice. Snorting, Sabra turned away from the pastel mountains that towered into the sky, perhaps someone would need her help. After all, just standing there wasn't actually very helpful. Silvery fur rippled with sinew and muscle as she trotted towards Aibek and Calypso, hoping that one of them might have something for her to do. "Chief, all looks safe for now." The greeting was full of respect and a warm tone of affection. Sabra thought of everyone in the tribe as family, and would treat them as such. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sky had been nearby setting up her tent although she was struggling without the help from her elder brother, who has recently passed due to illness. With a sigh she stepped back hoping the tent would hold bit of course it just fell back down. She snorted in annoyance, "Am I really this helpless", she muttered to herself as she stood there for a second trying to figure out what she was doing wrong, her black tail swishing, and her front hoof pawing the dirt. "Thank you, Sabra," he smiled gently, glancing over her shoulder and noticing Sky struggling with her tent. He put a hand on Sabra's shoulder, giving a friendly squeeze before heading towards Sky to help. There wasn't really any need to worry about being on lookout - in the plains they were out on the open, and sure they had to be careful of mountain lions and such, but with the grass this green they wouldn't blend, and the bears were still in the forest and heading to the rivers to fish. "Need help?" he asked Sky as he approached, reaching out to help straighten out the poles. Calypso ↠ Gatherer ↠ 20 ↠ Mare The young mare looked to Sabra, giving a grin. "So tense. You don't need to be worried, I mean I know it's a little unsettling to be moving around but it's necessary," she shrugged, beginning to braid her hair loosely and a little absentmindedly; mostly for something to do. They moved because that was how it worked; when the bears slept in the mountains of winter, that's where they went, seeing as their predators then would be wolves. When they woke up, they left to plains since the bears were hungry after the sleep. 0 players like this post! Like? |

ChangWook (K2)(Ji) / Stallion / 22 / Deputy / Mentions: Sky, Aibek Changwook scanned the new camp, he spotted Sky, who was having trouble with her tent and didn't think twice about trotting towards her to help. Aibek got there before him but he still continued to head towards her "Let me help" He shot a small smile to the young mare as he bent down slightly to pick up one of the tent poles, he positioned it and stabbed it into the ground, hard. Changwook bent down and picked up the second pole. "The weather looks good, you could probably hunt soon, that is, if there is no more duties in camp for you to fulfill". He looks towards the Chief. "On second thoughts, it'd be better to have them scout the lands" Milo / Stallion / 17 / Hunter / Mentions: Sky, ChangWook Overhearing the deputy, Milo broke into a quick trot towards the three. "Hunting?" The young stallion asks, immediately interested. "When?" He asks ChangWook. He sees that the other is holding a pole and realizes that they were setting up a tent. "So not now?" He shyly asks, as he backs away, but not before shooting a charming smile towards Sky. (I'd assume Sky and Milo would be pretty close cause they're both hunters... Sky heard voices behind her, not paying much attention until she heard the chiefs voice. Lifting her head as the Chief approached, she nodded slowly feeling embarrassed, her brother had shown her this when she was younger, why hadn't she paid attention? She scolded herself mentally for that and before paying close attention to what they were doing, seeing how they straightened out the poles and dug them in the ground, "Thank you two, by the time I would have figured it out on my own it would have been time to migrate again", she said in her quiet voice with a nervous chuckle. Before perking up looking excited for hunting and seeing Milo(? Don't remember who's who sorry) she couldn't help but blush at his smile, suddenly losing her voice again, once again becoming as shy as a newborn foal. 0 players like this post! "No problem," he gave a smile to the mare. He glanced between her and Milo, grin widening as he noticed the two blushing. Looked like a bit of young love between the two; and well, centaurs were.... 'affectionate' creatures. He gave a laughed, lightly bumping his hindquarters against Sky teasingly, "Go on, you two, if you want; I suggest scoping out the area first before actually hunting something, we don't know if the boars or elk are back yet. But, at this moment fretting about what could happen wasn't going to do anything for anyone. Sighing, Sabra eased herself onto the ground, picking absentmindedly at her weapon. Hearing someone say 'hunt' made her ears perk up, and she was on her feet within seconds. "I will accompany you!" She called, galloping over to the small group with an excited smile. They were hunters, but maybe they would need protection. Especially if they were going into the forests. Even if they weren't, she still wanted to go. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sky grew flustered by the chiefs teasing and rubbed the back of her neck with her hand looking down at the ground, but the truth was she was a bit excited to hunt with MIlo even if he knew how to make her blush brighter than a burning bush. She heard Sabra saying she would accompany them on the hunt and couldn't help but feel disappointed she wouldn't be hunting alone with fellow hunter. She whisked her tail back and forth for a second before bending down and picking up her bow and quiver nodding to Sabra and gave a small smile to Milo. "Well shall we go then?", she asked tilting her head to the side, her pale blue eyes sparkling with excitement. 0 players like this post! At this rate it seemed half the tribe wanted to go; he understood, everyone wanted to explore and get used to the outlay of the plains once more. After all, it had been a year. He trotted back towards the main camp, glancing around at the bags and baskets they had; a few duties were to be carried out still. "Collect some firewood on your way back," he called the group, locating the open top baskets connected with a strap of leather that would lie over their backs horizontally, a basket on either side of them. He carried it over, giving a nod to Sabra and putting it on her; after all, she was built more for the heavy work than Milo or Sky, much like himself. "And make sure it's dry," he added, giving a look to Milo; he remembered a few seasons ago when he was younger, the yearling had decided it was easier to collect driftwood by the river. The chief then went to the centre of camp, beginning to dig a deep crevice for a fire pit. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sabra- Head Warrior- 20- Mare The weight of the baskets on her back was a familiar feeling, after all, years of carrying weapons and heavy armor had dulled her to the hard work of collecting firewood. She gave a firm nod in Aibek's direction, then turned to Milo and Sky, noticing that both of them looked somewhat perturbed at her injection into the hunt. Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in her head, and she couldn't help but give them a sly smile as she passed. "Don't worry you two, I'll be off collecting firewood while you're hunting, I won't intrude." She said as she walked by, leading them towards the edge of the plains. They would have to use the forest as their hunting grounds today. If she was to bring enough wood back for a fire. Firestar-13-stallion His arrows freshly sharpened he walked through the forest his hands clenching onto the flexible wood soon he saw a rabbit poking its head out of his hole fire aimed careful to make sure that the mammal did not notice him and he launched a rocket like arrow and pierced the rabbit in the side and landed in the wood of a oak so he walked and grabbed the rabbit and the arrow and but the arrow back in his holster and walked through the woods back to camp with a happy face of his first hunt 0 players like this post!
