Karma. For most players, it's just a number that corresponds to a title. Falling into negatives makes you evil, soaring into the positives makes you good, and not going anywhere makes you neutral. These are all swell and all, and give you cooler things in Explore, but, I feel like it needs more. As a game mechanic, it doesn't do much. It's a half-finished choice system.

One possible addition is lioness claiming. If you are an evil/snarky lion personality wise, but have extremely good karma, it would wipe the anti-buff from claiming good/kind lionesses. Same for good/kind kings and evil karma with evil/snarky lionesses. Neutral karma is, well, neutral, but depending on if your neutral is positive or negative, it could have the same effects as good and evil, while complete zero gives you no buffs. (Neutral needs some work, feel free to suggest things!) The reason this could be in place is because, as a king, you've made a name for yourself that even the loners hear about. You're either a mass murderer, or the kindest of the kind, or simply an all-around nice guy who doesn't hurt anyone or do much.

Another idea could be that it impacts flavour texts. You could get one upon opening your profile. For an example, once you drop into evil karma and enter your den, you could get a little flavour text that says something like this: "You hear your pride mates whispering as you enter. They look fearful, but their chatter stops once you come near. They all refuse to meet your gaze." Every time you change title/hit a milestone of evil karma, you could get that. It could also be a lioness flavour text, where perhaps a pregnant lioness growls at you and tells you to leave her alone, or it could be for new mothers, if you drop into evil karma. A good karma counterpart could be that you get the flavour text in your den upon milestones of, "You hear your pride mates whispering as you enter. Their chatter quiets to an even lower whisper as you near. You brush [random lioness's name]'s pelt, and she stares after you for a moment, before sqealing to her friends." Pregnant lionesses or new mothers could get you to watch her cubs for her and be a good dad, instead of pushing you away. (Neutral still needs some work. Please suggest things!)

One thing that I've wanted to see is a twin set of good and evil karma decor. My favourite part of good karma is the explore encounter where dozens of butterflies follow you. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a very low chance that the butterflies could follow you home, and therefor you stash a "Dozens Of Butterflies" decor? Same for the evil counterpart! The neutral one could be grasshoppers or crickets, swapping out the butterfly interaction with grasshoppers or crickets.

This would incentivise players to try all forms of karma, to get all the decors and flavour texts, instead of just wanting certain karma levels for cool titles or encounters in explore.

EDIT: Addition to first idea, your karma could act as an additional lioness claiming buff. Lionesses that match your personality and your karma are even easier to claim.
