Rainpelt:


Rainpelt sat outside the warriors den. The ice was on the leaves and the fresh kill pile low. She sighed and grabbed part of a half frozen mouse.

Halfpaw-

The she-cat woke, slightly tumbling out of the apprentices' den. Her eyes gazed upon the dull, cold leaf-bare's effect on the clan. Slightly spotting Rainpelt, she quickly ran up to her, barely slipping over herself. With a small smile, she greeted her, "Hello Rainpelt! I know days in leaf-bare seem harsh, but we can make it through, clans always do!" she said, cheerfully as her small, bobbed-tail swayed from side-to-side excitedly.

Rainpelt forced a smile when the kit came up. "Yeah, I guess." She said softly. "This winter does seem a bit warmer than usual. But that usually means the summer will be hotter..."

Halfpaw-

"Guess so, might mean that the prey might aswell go hide off to the coolest section they could find..." Half hesitated, as a spark came up in her mind. Quickly leaning in on Rainpelt, nudging her gently before rushing in her den again.

Confused, she watched Halfpaw run into the apprentice den. She trotted after her, "what are you doing?" She asked

Oakpaw walked over to the fresh kill pile. He saw Rainpelt following Halfpaw and watched from a distance

Halfpaw-

"Well, its still cold out! And my somewhat short fur isn't made for this condition." she said, her bright blue eyes losing as a dark color slightly came in, as she curled up.

"Oh..." she watched her eyes. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I'm still fine though, at least I won't freeze during leaf-bare." she answered, herself dozing off.

She noticed the she-cat leave the area, quickly rushing out of camp, face-palming onto the snowy ground. "Wow, the place is already flooded with snow!" she thought to herself, hoping Oakpaw nor Rainpelt would've noticed her. Going on her back, she looked at her two front, white paws as one of the paws' marking was longer than the other. "Well.." she quickly stood up, running a bit further around where the frozen lake now stands.

Oakpaw


Oakpaw saw Halfpaw run out of camp. He jumped up, leaving his crow and followed. "Hi! What are you doing?" He asked curiously.

"AHHH!!!" she screeched, barely recognizing Oakpaw. She calmed down, her bobbed-tail barely sticking between her legs in embarrassment. "Sorry.. But I'm just here relaxing near the frozen lake." she said, her tone going back to a whisper like it usually is.

Oakpaw jumped when Halfpaw screamed. He giggled and looked at her. "Oh ok. It's really pretty isn't it?'

Half's face turned into a reddish color, making it feel like her face would be melting. "Uh, yeah, it is pretty.." she responded to the sounding statement.
