The game can recognize our birthdays and it gives us a present on our birthday. Would it not be too difficult to implement a filter that, if the game senses we're under 18, it takes away the chatter 'section box' that has the 18+ board?

You may be thinking, this only benefits minors! And besides, they should follow the rules! Well, people don't like following rules. Aside from that, not allowing minors the option of viewing the chat allows 18+ members to chat without the slightest fear of underage lurkers.
