Sign Up Post Areas: City This is a large city with high -but crumbling- skyscrapers. Surprisingly, this city wasn't hit as bad as others, and many buildings are still intact. In the center of the city is the City Hall, and across the street from that is a 8-story library. On the outskirts of the city toward the north is a mental hospital/asylum. These are a few main buildings. A river runs to the north of the city, and has a bridge crossing to the next city over. The bridge, however, is not completely stable. Forest The forest surrounds the city to the north, west, and east. In this forest lurks creatures that are extremely dangerous, but there are also many bunkers and secret cabins strewn about. Rumors of a creature of immense strength have emerged. it is said the beast is named 'Heartstealer.' The Unknown The dark part of the forest no one dares to enter. In this place, light does not seem to exist, unless someone has night vision or a flashlight. Creatures even more dangerous than in the normal forest lurk here. Rumors of a soul-stealing beast are told from anyone who escaped the Unknown. Safe Havens A few buildings in the city are safe havens, where some individuals have decided to set up a place for people to be safe and rest. These people are often powerful and do not allow violence in their homes. One safe haven is in a large mansion in the northern part of the city. Another is in the big library. Weather/Events: Time: 4:36PM Day of the Week: Monday Weather: Cloudy. The snow has started falling heavier, and snowdrifts have begun to appear around the edges of buildings. Events: None currently Rules ~ RP replies for each character must be 2+ sentences. Eliza / 14 / Female / Outside, City / No Interaction, Open Eliza strolled calmly through the street, on all fours. She definitely preferred walking this way. A gentle breeze brushed past, ruffling her fur. A leaf skittered past, and she pounced on it like a cat. Shian / 16 / Male / Library / No interaction, Open Shian sat in a chair, reading. A breeze blew through the upper floors of the library, causing a slight whistling sound to echo through the building. He smiled, and looked up toward the ceiling. He was at least on the 6th floor, which was one of the safer floors that was up higher. His tail tapped gently on the wood chair upon which he sat. Red / 16 / Male / Forest / No Interaction, Open Red summoned his fire, enjoying the slight crackling sound of the magic. He shot a fireball at a tree, and sent another steady stream of fire at it. The tree did not catch fire, but instead started to fall. Akia / 16 / Female / Forest Bunker / no Interaction Akia tossed a single can of food into her bag, her tail swishing lightly. She flicked her ears gently, and hummed as she packed more stuff into the bag she had on the counter. She looked away from the bag for a moment, eyes searching her shelf that used to hold canned food. "Damn..." She gazed at the empty shelf for a moment, then zipped up her bag and slung it over her shoulder. Hah, you're gonna starve. Or do you really care if you do? Swap / Blue, Blueberry, Or Berry / 17 / Male / Forest - Wandering / Open / lost and depressed feeling Swap had wandered into the forest, on accident, while starring at the ground. Swap walked and then looked up seeing the wooded area of the forest his eyes still the lilac of . Wait, how did I . . . great my Feet are taking me places when i feel helpless, Might as well make the best out of this, while i can anyway He walked until he found a small clearing to sit down in. Nightmare / Night / 20 / Male / outside city - standing still / open / Bored Nightmare was leaning against an apartment building Watching in front of him boredly When is dream going to Get up? I've been waiting here for about an Hour. He sighs Then again he had a long night walking into peoples Dreams and then waking up suddenly, He should see the crap I see, Dead pets, Dead pets everywhere Dream / De-de / 17 / Male / inside city - Laying down / open / Tired Dream was just waking up from a nice deep sleep he sits up and stretches Then gets out of bed. Still feeling Tired, He goes out of the Room where his bed is. Nightmare's probably waiting for me at the entrance, Huh? I have to go meet him down there. Red / 16 / Male / Forest / No Interaction, Open Red watched the tree fall with a loud crash. He went to the tree and picked up his axe, bringing it down on the tree. He needed wood, what else was he supposed to do? I think I heard something.... Hm, maybe after this I'll investigate. he thought, and looked at the log in front of him. Akia / 16 / Female / Forest Bunker > Outside / no Interaction, open Akia secured her backpack to her back, and then headed out the bunker hatch. She climbed the ladder, and once out, she closed it. She started walking toward the city. "I need to stock up on supplies, i don't know why you're assuming that I am starving myself." She muttered slightly to herself. Yeah, I TOOOTALLY believe you. You haven't eaten in days. Eliza / 14 / Female / Outside, City / No Interaction, Open Eliza sniffed at the leaf, then shifted her wings. She tore the leaf apart, and then started on her way again. Still feeling the helplessness that burdens him. Nightmare / Night / 20 / Male / outside city - talking / Dream, pretty much open / Bored Nightmare waits, for Dream. He then sees his brother walking out the door He still looks pretty tired. "hey De-de, you have a good sleep? i would hope so, because we have to get going" He says to his brother tapping his foot a bit. Dream / De-de / 17 / Male / Outside city - Talking / Nightmare, Pretty much open / Tired Dream sees his brother, And listens to him I kinda didn't but might as well lie to him, no harm in that "Yea i slept pretty good" He said, His voice surprisingly convincing. Yes, she hadn't eaten in a few days, but she had simply been trying to save her food... She thought. Her stomach twisted painfully. "I'll be fine, I've just been saving my food. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Excuses excuses. Sometimes I think you forget I'm your older sister. His eyes shifting Lime green, As he was feeling quite nervous. Red / 16 / Male / Forest / Blueberry Red approached Swap, eyes lighting up in a soft glow. "I'm Red." He decided to get his name out there. He sensed the tension in Swap's voice, and didn't want the stranger to be worried. He made sure to step on a few dry twigs, so Swap would know he wasn't trying to sneak. Akia / 16 / Female / Outside / Adri, open Akia sighed and looked down. She went silent, the only sound was her boots crunching the ground softly. She perked her ears for any danger, but still nearly ran into a tree. "Damn it..." He asks, he normally asks this question to everyone, Just checking, but he can hear Red, he looks at the sound of the twigs snapping, It seemed as if the entity was friendly, but he wanted to make sure. Nightmare / Night / 20 / Male / Library - looking around / open / Bored Nightmare enters the Library looking around he then runs off to the second floor of the library, going to find books whatever they may be, He just likes reading, it's fun. Red / 16 / Male / Forest / Blueberry Red thought for a minute. He really didn't know what to say. "Well, I'm definitely not gonna hurt ya...." He said slowly, as he walked closer to Swap. He observed his appearance, eyelights filled with curiosity. Shian / 16 / Male / Library / No interaction, Open Shian started a little as he heard people walking around on the lower floors. He froze for a second. "Wh-Wh-Who's there?" He called out. To be honest, anyone would be able to walk up to him within a small distance, and he wouldn't even know they were there. Akia / 16 / Female / Outside / Adri, open Akia rubbed her head lightly, even though it wasn't necessary. She whimpered softly, ad headed into the city, crossing a small field of just grass, and stepped onto the street. Looking around nervously, she stepped forward cautiously. Tally / 16 / female / edge of the city / Akia Tally tapped the ground with her stick. There was always so much damn rubble everywhere. Making it hard to walk. She edged forward and stubbed her toe on something. She swore, loudly, and tapped the object with her foot. A rock of some kind. Tally stepped over it and sniffed the air. No smell of food, although she did smell something. She stopped in her tracks, listening. Soft shuffling footsteps and small noise, a whimper or a grunt. He looked at The broken before him, his eyes shifting to this Blue color, to show that he was calm, I wonder what he's doing out here? Swap took a relaxed position to stand in, his eyelights filled with this curiosity, wondering why he was out here anyway. Nightmare / Night / 20 / Male/ Library - looking around / Shian - Indirectly / Bored Nightmare heard Shain. he then chuckles and decides to go into the shadows, let's see if i can locate whoever that was to try and scared them, That sounds like plenty of fun. I haven't scared anyone in a while, so this should help me keep my anger issues down a bit Dream / De-de / 17 / Male / Library - looking around / open / Happy Dream was to lost in a book to hear anything, it was that interesting. The storm was awful even the humans in the underground could hear it, they knew what was happening, everyone did. It was the end of the world their gods hated them. Everyone was going to die, the houses were already burning down from the lightning. the next morning, everyone was dead, except for the humans living under ground, they knew the surface was not a good place for them, so they stayed there, underground. He knew he could full well protect himself, but someone else for that matter? That was asking for death. Shian / 16 / Male / Library / Nightmare, indirectly Shian whimpered softly, his eyelights shrinking slightly in fear. This made his right eyelight completely disappear, and his other was completely visible for once. His lack of good eyesight made him nervous, he knew he could be killed easily. But he had expected safety in the library. Akia / 16 / Female / Outside / Tally, Adri Akia looked ahead and spotted a female, and her tail twitched. "Oh..." She of course, could not spot the defining features from such a ways away, but at least knew the scent. That was what was good about being part fox, she had increased senses. Tally turned towards where she thought the person was. They doubtless could see her, if they wished her ill or well. She wasn't exactly hidden. "H-hello? Who's there? I don't have anything to steal, you know." That wasn't quite true. She had a single can of what she hoped was people food, her pocket knife, her canteen and her favorite book in Braille.
