Mythical Creatures

A small band of Mythical Creatures had to leave what ever bubble of happiness or hidden forest alcove they previously inhabited. Hunters are after them, some have their eye set on their precious fur or horns, while others plan to capture them alive. Suddenly the wilderness is no safe place anymore, for anyone that's after quick money wants to try their shot a hunting down these Mythical Creatures. But the lion doesn't go hunting in his own den, so the fugitives seek shelter in a burnt out house in the outskirts of the run down city New Eslund. If adjusting to their new surroundings wasn't enough our heroes or perhaps even villains will have to watch their every step from now on.




New Eslund

New Eslund is an old city, how old no body knows. It has been burned down and rebuild so many times that there is no way of telling. Historic and modern buildings mingle and fight for space in its crowded heart. A maze like network of alleys zigzags away from the main road. The farther you go from the center the smaller the buildings become, only a few miles away the first farms and sprawling fields of wheat pop up. The sound of car engines gives way to the barking of dogs. Farmers keep small packs tied up or locked away in cages. During the long winters, the half feral mutts keep wolves and bears at bay. To the north lies the harbor, adjoining the industrial part of New Eslund. Tourists are a rare sight here. The winters are too cold and the summers too hot for most, but there is nothing much to see anyway.
