Welcome back! Thankfully primal is a mutation that can naturally pass, though it is a low chance. One thing to note is that female primals cannot pass the mutation - only males can. There's also an Oasis item called Pennyroyal that improves the chance of primal being passed and can only be fed to primal males.

Note that a regular primal can pass on both the Smilus and Felis variant.

It really is up to chance but there are a lot of cheap primal studs around, so if you're only interested in getting the mutation itself, it should be relatively easy! You can also buy a regular primal for a couple of GB. (Smilus and Felis are both newer, so they're still worth more.)

Primal males can only pass the mutation, but females are able to get it.
You can give a male the MOD to make him primal.
Smilus are males only, and require a Pennyroyal (1Gb in Oasis) to help the chance of getting it.
Felis are for male and female, and it also requires a Pennyroyal.
From what I've seen of others, it's kinda hard to get one?
Some people breed over a hundred of lionesses and still get no smilus/felis.

Technically Smilus and Felis don't require Pennyroyal. It just ups the chance of getting one. But yeah, Smilus is male-only, Felis is male & female. The Mutie on Demand: Primal is a January event item, so they're pretty rare now.

Whats the MOD to give a male primal?

Looks like ill be working hard to try to get one. I've yet to ever get a mutation of any kind. xD

Cheapest seem to be going for around 50-60GB, but you might be able to work out a deal with someone. :) This event has the Ochre Gnawrocks / GMO Cows and if you manage to collect several of them you might be able to work out a deal. (I value the Ochre Gnawrocks higher, but that's personal preference)

EDIT: Or you might get lucky, breed to a cheap Primal, pop out a Felis and can then sell it off and buy a MoD: Primal that way. (assuming you don't want to keep the Felis lol)

I'm seeing a lot of regular-primal cubs for 4Gb and then some 50GB as buyouts. Felis and Smilus seem to be the higher range of course. <3
