(sorry if this has been elsewhere- i looked a few pages back and didn't see anything!)

oldlion_by_kelpiemomma-dbmbabc.jpg

This guy.

He only appears for evil kings, and honestly my guy wouldn't be above peeling open his scalp and taking his skull. Plus, you get the chance to get flesh of the unworthy- why not have a chance of getting a lion skull as well? For both options.

Apart from buying lion skulls or the event where you encounter the dead lion (which gives a random chance of SB or a lion skull) I think this one would be a nice opportunity as well to get a lion skull. Plus, as I said before, he only appears for evil kings, and I'm certain that plenty of other kings would have no qualms about taking his skull as well.

It was just something that I thought of last time I encountered him.

If you don't support, please explain why c:

And maybe have this encounter for good kings as well in case they want to sit by him while evil kings finish him off. o3o My king is good so I'd sit by him plus getting the lion spirit is cool. I mean it looks cool on lions o3o

As I said in my original post, the only other encounter to get a lion skull is this one-

You notice lion remains. After paying respects, you take the skull of your brethren to your pride, to fill his afterlife with warmth of cubs.
You got 1 x Lion Skull!
OR
You notice lion remains. After paying respects, you clean up the pesky insects.
+50 SB

For evil kings who get this encounter, I believe it would make sense to also have the chance to get a lion skull from it- especially if they choose to kill him. I have much more use for a lion skull than I do for flesh of the unworthy or a lion spirit.

I get plenty of lion skulls. Without that encounter.... So still no support. People sell them cheap enough if you really need them. There is tons in game and so probably don't need even more :o

The cheapest lion skull is for 50sb in the branches currently- and that is the ONLY one worth that much. The rest are priced at 70sb+ and the majority at at least 95+ sb, and in the trade center the cheapest lion skull is priced at 200sb. As SkaterBirb said, that's only cheap if you have the sb/gb to buy them. For me, I could afford the 50 sb one- the rest are out of my price range. Especially pricing them at 200+ sb. My normal amount of SB is ~500, so when I get things like lion or elephant skulls, they go to the monkey. If I wanted to make the ancient lion skull, that would cost 30 lion skulls. If I were to try and buy them all from the branches, going by the average of 95sb on the first page, that would cost 2,850sb. In the trades, people do stacks of them for gb- again, something I don't have easy access to. Adding in one more event for a lion skull wouldn't hurt, and would give more casual players who don't have a lot of time to spend trying to make money a greater chance at both making the ancient lion mask, or they could simply use the lion skulls to sell them, likely to the monkey as he's the easiest way to make money off of them.

I don't really see this as necessary. I don't see a reason to add another prize to a single event that already has two potential prizes - seems a little redundant to me. I think there are better ways to provide more methods of getting SB if that's what you want? And if it's about the ancient lion mask, the point of craftable decor is that you have to save up - you can choose to sell the individual item or you can choose to keep it. Many craftables are useful in other ways and you have to make the choice of whether you want the decor or you want to use the item. It's not really supposed to be so abundant, I think that takes the challenge out of it :)

To be honest, 2850sb isn't really that much. If you casually do events you can buy decor/items and sell them for GB, get 3 GB and convert and you have over 2850sb. Besides, Ancient Lion Mask actually goes for pretty cheap on branches -

That's essentially the price of 30 lion skulls, so around 12sb per skull.
